If you know Japanese and can translate the lyrics into your own language, it’s great… But that doesn’t mean you literally understand what this song really wanna tell you.
I don't understand why he comes in early. I've gone over it many times to myself now and I come in at the correct time. There's a cue (se no) leading right into it
@@StudentOfGod I just find it odd because "se-no" is like "and go", "ready-set-go", or "1, 2, 3". So all he had to do was come in on the next beat like normal. Obviously it's his first time listening to it so he could have been imagining something else coming up despite the cue, or maybe he just made a complete mistake. I'm not really criticizing his skills. But the JP comment is using it as an example of foreigners coming in early because of a certain difference in language. But I don't think what we see in this video is an example of that. Just a general mistake of coming in too early likely caused by the fact he's never heard the song before
@@_kommandant_3055 Right, I'm quite familiar with what the JP comment is talking about, but I think it's more likely he doesn't know that se no is a cue to begin with and he's thinking of song patterns in general.
@@user-nb8bl4sm5k People in the west know it if they're interested in Japanese otaku interests. if they're only interested in Japan or Japanese animation, they may not.
@@moonclown305 It's not really a mix, ~ニキ itself is just a way used to refer to people on the internet (海外ニキ itself being 海外+ニキ). It's more like calling him "the drum guy" though a bit more respectful in tone
