My headcanon is that in this song, Miku and Kaito are time travelers that got stuck in 1690, and use their modern-age knowledge, technology, and bright colored outfits to put on dance shows with Miku as the star. They explode in popularity, and Kaito is a shrewed merchent type that easily makes even more money with these shows. Together they get super rich and famous as they inevitably destroy the timeline with their distruption of the culture and economy. I imagine this song is sort of like the montage of them doing all this.

The tuning is excellent all around but it's much more common for Kaito to be tuned very poorly. There's plenty of well tuned Miku songs but this is a serious feat.

Because Mitchie-M is not a new name producer when it comes to his god tier tuning with Miku. Not a surprise to vocaloid fans by the time this video was released. However his work with Kaito before this video is not much recognized so many people are glad to see Kaito's tuning in its full glory.

@@monavity Vocaloids are just voices and the people who make the songs can do whatever they please with them. The songs don't have to comply to the ""canon"" versions and I use canon lightly because the priority has always been for fans to mold the characters into whatever they please. Just like some people have Rin and Len as twins and some songs they aren't siblings at all. They are just voice banks.

i think what makes miku and kaito sound more human is some of the flaws you might find in a human singing it; i can even hear miku taking a breath before belting
