The spacing, reads, reactions, match up knowledge and guts from both players was absolutely incredible. It's matches like these that make you go "Ah, now this is Street Fighter."
I dunno, many Japanese players have always said they like the hype in America crowds and audiences. It's something you don't see in Japanese vids, Ohnuki who has been around the world, clearly had the experience rubbed onto him to try and bring hype into the games in Japan. Also, this guy pretty much innovated commentating for Street Fighter, especially weekly ranbats.
Nuki is awesome. And the idea behind the yelling is pretty much just to hype the crowd and not be so boring to the audience. I don't mind it cause even though I don't understand most the stuff is being said, I still enjoy it.
You gotta love nuki, he's so excitable. Reminds me a lot of itsuki from initial D whereas his bestfriend takumi is as emotionless and talented as daigo.
Do you just know that Bonchan is one of Daigo's best friends and the beast himself bring him from Gealty Gear (I think) to start playing Vanilla, he was training him himslef... (Daigo took every carachter in the game and played Bonchan's Sagat to train for matchup... ( Daigo says somewhere ).
Could be a tournament or he could have won a contest somehow. I honestly don't remember him winning a significant tournament, but he must have. For instance, Mago has a custom "2D God" title for winning gods garden online #2 tournament. Choco and Gama (along with a couple of others) have "Umehara Shinja" or in english "Umehara Believer" title that they won in a Japanese Daigo fan contest.
34:17 i watched this whole joint daigo kept chippin with that cross up tatsu shit had me jumping when he did that reversal ultra great match all the way thru daigo was playing mad aggressive and defensive always had sagat in the same corner.
Acho que vamos ter que esperar próximos torneios para ver o que ele vai fazer. Caso ele não se recupere internacionalmente, então pode realmente ser o fim do reinado dele. Mas na minha opinião ele ainda vai bater em muitos top players por aí hehe.
Daigo really knows how to fight an excellent Sagat like Bonchan's. How they calculate the distance is ridiculous, the footsies, the execution... Awesome combat!
Couldnt watch this all the way through without laughing at the commentators because you dont understand a word they are saying but they are going NUTS !!!
the battle challenges are a mission that you must complete in order to get bonus zeny and GP. Like "Execute a 13 hit combo" , "Perform 30 fast recovery", things like that
07:08 geez... f*ck.. scream much? It's just a super fireball... I was never fond of the japanese commentators that scream their heads off like a banshee from hell..
He didn't win sbo in 2010. Momochi, RF, and Kindevu won sbo in 2010. Kazunoko and Ojisan boy won in 2011. Bonchan was on Daigo's team in 2010 along with TKD (el fuerte). They lost in the finals to Momochi's team.
Fell of the throne? onto what? all his trophy's? then realised he needed to win one more to fill that little gap in the small of his back that the rest weren't quite holding him up on ROFL Back my ass he never left just went afk hahaha but ya i agree with you.
that doesnt mean anything...daigo lost to bonchan also many time...tokido,mago,fudo all the top japanese players said that bonchan is the best sagat evah,so its somehow easier for me to belive them, than you...and where was ryan hart in EVO 2009, 2010,2011...who won it?2x daigo 1xfudoo so please...ryan hart is not even the best player in europe (alioune sensei is,rayan said himself)...rayan is a pro player i respect that but he is far from being the best sagat
What matches are you talking about? Vanilla Sagat days? Something more recent would be needed to claim Ryan Hart is the "best" Sagat, stop living in the past. Like Mago once said, accidental wins were not uncommon with Vanilla Sagat. If anyone's the best Sagat outside Japan, it's Sanford. Sanford beat Mago's Sagat last year, and he looked a lot better against Justin Wong than Ryan Hart did, he also doesn't crumble under pressure and start doing random shit like desperation level 3 focus attacks
