1998年10月1日発売。コナミが開発した、アーケードで人気を博した音楽ゲームの火付け役的作品のプレイステーション移植版、「ビート・マニア」。流れる音楽に合わせて、タイミングよくボタンを押して行く、リズムアクションゲーム。本作は初代アーケード版に楽曲が追加され、バージョンアップした「2nd Mix」が収録された1枚目と、ゲームオリジナル楽曲が収録された、アペンドディスクとなる「Yebisu Mix」の2枚組構成。
Released October 1, 1998. Developed by Konami, "Beat Mania" is a PlayStation port version of the music game that sparked popularity in arcades. A rhythm action game in which you press buttons at the right time in time with the music. This work consists of a 2-disc set consisting of the first disc, which contains the upgraded "2nd Mix" with songs added to the original arcade version, and the "Yebisu Mix", which is an append disc containing the game's original songs.
