■浅香弘能
1977年大阪府生まれ。
京都造形芸術大学（現: 京都芸術大学）卒業。
2009年、2012年、2017年、2020年高島屋巡回展（東京、大阪）、2014年靖山画廊（東京）、 2015年伊勢丹新宿店（東京）など個展多数。
2016年「Collect 」（Micheko Gallery / ドイツ）、2019年「VOLTA Basel」（スイス）、 「PULSE Art Fair」（マイアミ）、「Art Central」（香港）、「ブレイク前夜展」（六本木ヒルズ A/D ギャラリー/ 東京）などグループ展やアートフェアに多数参加。
大阪市、銀座英國屋 （東京）、大原山神社（福岡）に作品収藏。
■作品について
"目に見える物質的存在は 実体なのか無実体（仮象）なのかー。"
そんな問いから生まれた「仮象と錯覚」というコンセプトをもとに、「 KASHOUMON 」シリーズを制作している。
硬く重い「石」という天然素材を用いているにも関わらず、まるで柔らかく軽い人工素材の「発泡スチロール」で作られているようにも見える。
つまり、人間の脳裏にある視覚的、触感的、重力的な固定概念をくつがえすような視覚効果を利用した超写実的な具象彫刻なのである。
「彫る」という行為のみで制作し、「物質と物質の対峙」を表現する本シリーズは、石という素材で表現できる限界への挑戦であり、また石の神に対する反骨精神の極みでもある。

■About the work
“Is visible material existence an entity or a non-entity”
This question led to the creation of the KASHOUMON series.
The KASHOUMON series is based on the concept of “pseudo-substance and illusion.”
Although they are made of natural materials such as hard and heavy stones, they look as if they are made of soft and light artificial materials such as Styrofoam.
In other words, it is a hyper-realistic figurative sculpture that utilizes visual effects that overturn the fixed concepts of sight, touch, and gravity that exist in the human brain.
This series, which expresses the “confrontation of matter and material” through the act of “carving”alone, is a challenge to the limits of what can be expressed with the material of stone, and is also the ultimate expression of a rebellious spirit against the god of stone.
