【初音ミク・KAITO・氷山キヨテル】Project 「MA」【ENG】 

At first, when I heard "daughter of evil", I was like "Oh, okay, awesome story line." Then I saw "the judgement of corruption" and all the other songs of evil and thought "the story line is really good!" When I saw that there was a WHOLE EFFEN WIKIA DEDICATED TO THE SERIES and there were more songs, I just died and watched all of it.

Fun fact: "Mem" and "Aleph" are Hebrew letters. When put together they say "MA" which means "what". Project What. Thanks Mothy. Thanks.

And this is the beginning of a very confusing story....

The part about the moon and stars disappearing was a fuckin pun, wasn't it? Because Adam's last name was "Moonlit" and Eve's means "Star".

The fact that the Big Bads of OSS are a kiyoteru and an iroha is still hilarious to me like yeah, picked the scariest vocaloids for the job, huh

I never really blame Eve, nor Adam, nor Meta. If you want someone to blame? Point the finger to Seth, and both Levia&Behemo. They're the one who started this whole mess! Besides, Eve used to be a sweet girl, Adam used to be innocent, and the whole Third Period used to be safe!

Miku: Alright let's do this. Kaito: Fuck I killed the babies... LET'S GET MARRIED ANYWAY! *Two get off to get married* Me: Omg... A vocaloid... With a Happy ending? *Music starts up* Me: ...Damn it, knew there was a catch.

Okay friends, I shall explain the story. [[SPOILERS]] (i guess??) Part1 -Okay so this song(Project Ma) is the first of the series. In this song, Kaito is a scientist and wants to find the "witch" to give birth to the "God Twins" so he finds out that Miku(eve) is a candidate for this experiment. He gives Miku a sort of poison/potion that brainwashes her into loving him so that he could convince her to do the project. The project fails then him and Miku run off to the forest to live and get married(like kaito promised. You may note that Seth is the scientist that worked with Kaito. Once kaito ran off he decided to work on it alone and find another candidate for Project Ma. Part 2-In the next song(Escape of Salmhofer the witch(sung by Meiko)), Meiko is a woman who lived a life without a mother or father, she grew up and at the age of 20 she fell in love with a murderer. Then next part is a bit confusing, I personally think she may have gotten involved with his murders and the people of the town began to call her a "witch". I suppose in this story she killed Miku(different miku)'s children and she was caught and arrested. She was about to get executed when Seth(yes, the same guy from song 1) appears. (fun fact: seth is the twin brother of meiko's murderer exboyfriend) Meiko agrees to be Seth's "guinea pig" in his experiment because she didn't want to die, also she may have done it also because seth looked like her old lover. Meiko then is implanted with the "heavenly seeds" and Project Ma was a success. She gave birth to two healthy twins(rin and len). Suddenly, meiko realizes that she is quite similar to the twins because he recalls being a child born in a lab. She didn't want the twins to live the same life she did(without parents/being a lab rat) so she took them and ran away. Towards the end of the pv, the three take a walk through a forest which is the same forest that miku(eve) and kaito live in. Meiko sets the twins down for a second and looks away and when she turns back they are gone. Part 3-(Moonlit Bear(Sung by Miku ft kaito)) This is the continuation of Meiko's Escape of Salmhofer the Witch. In the song, Miku(eve) tells how she was in the forest one day and she found two red fruits. She thinks of how Kaito would be happy if she took them home so she picked them up and took them. She's extremely happy to have found these fruits. She begins to run back home and thinks of how happy kaito and her will be because of these "fruits". She then realizes that a "bear" is chasing her and she can see that the "bear" really treasures these fruits. Miku would not give them up so she continued to run until she arrived at her house. She walks in and shows Kaito the "fruits" and he's horrified. He proceeds to tell her that they're children are dead and that Miku must return these "fruits"(which are actually the God Twins, rin and len) to their mother. Miku becomes terrified which leads to the screaming part in the song. Miku was torn apart from the truth and wanted to keep these children so badly. She then realized what a horrible crime she had committed. Kaito tells Miku that it's not too late to fix what she had done but she tells him "it's no use! because, already.." Then the video shows the "bear" dead in front of the house, but actually the bear is Meiko. Miku killed Meiko because Meiko threatened her happiness. Part 4-(Okizari Tsukiyosyou-Kagamin Twins) This video takes place when Rin and Len are young children. Their parents Miku(eve) and Kaito(Adam) lead the twins deep into the forest and abandoned them(perhaps due to food shortage). Rin and Len wander through the forest and find a house they seem to recognize. The witch's house. The twins decide to kill the witch and burn her in an oven. They says they will be truly happy once she is dead. Rin says "Mother, praise me" and proceeds to throw the witch into the fire pit. Len says "Father, praise me" as he kills off the witch's henchman. They decide to stay in the house and they say 'it feels as if, long ago we used to live here." Funfacts: The witch is actually Miku(eve), they hated her because she became insane after she realized that her previous children are dead and that she murdered rin and lens mother. The witch's henchman is Kaito(adam). Part 5--(Chrono Story w/ rin, len, ft luka) After the twins killed Miku, the "original sin" was left in miku's place which they then split up into seven pieces. Lust, Gluttony, Vanity/Pride, Envy, Sloth, Greed, Wrath. These make up the seven deadly sins. The twins scatter the seven pieces so that they may not join together again. A tree in the forest where miku and kaito lived in, requested a sorceress to collect the seven deadly sins. She then went on her mission to collect them. ((I am not sure what will happen once the seven sin are joined together again, i have looked into it and received multiple answers. One was that a "Utopia" would be created, other answers imply an apocalypse or world disaster.)) IMPORTANT FUNFACT: The Seven Deadly Sins are pas by different vocalic artists. In Gakupo's Duke of Venomenia, he represents Lust. In Meiko's Food Eater Conchita, she represents Gluttony. In Rin's Daughter of Evil/Len's Servant of Evil, they represent Pride/Vanity. In Miku's Gift from the Princess who Brought Sleep, she represents Sloth. In Luka's The Tailor Shop of Enbizaka, she represents Envy. In Kaito's Judgement of Corruption he represents Greed. In Gumi's The Last Revolver, she represent wrath. IMPORTANT FUN FACT: The characters in the main story(Project Ma) are not the same as the ones in the side stories(The Seven Deadly Sins). If you look, you can see that all the characters have different names and that the vocaloids only represent such character in the pv. SORRY FOR A LONG POST! Any questions, just ask.

I actually sympathize with both Meta and Eve. Meta for obvious reasons. Of course, she had no right to take Meta's children and then her life, but she was under a delusion at the time, most likely caused by a combination of the venom and the shock of losing her children. Even if her subconscious mind knew, her conscious mind didn't. I'm not sure about other countries or the fictional world this series takes place in, but I know the US has a defense called temporary insanity. Eve may or may not qualify. You'd have to ask a psychologist and legal expert. The point is that I don't think she should be blamed entirely for her actions, given her mental state at the time. Both women only wanted happiness, but neither could hold onto it in the end.

ok.. Im really laughing at this when I realized this.. Because of Kaito, The Whole series was Created.. I think that's why in every deadly sin song, he's dying or something will happen really bad at him.., like.. seeing her loved one dead (aku no musume) taking his loved one from him (venomonia) being eaten (evil food eater) got killed (tailor shop) got killed again (princess who brought to sleep) got killed again (muzzle) got killed again (his own song/judgment)

Does anyone know why Eve speaks in Katakana when giving her wedding vow to Adam? He says "I love you" in Hiragana and with the Kanji for love (aishiteiruyo), which makes sense, so why is she expressing the (almost) same words (aishiteruwa) with different letters? If it's not a language thing, I could imagine that, as Katakana is used for foreign words in Japanese, the brainwashing Adam put her through might have resulted in her not recognizing her words (or more specifically, love) as familiar. The Katakana kind of distances her from her own words? Maybe? Or maybe I got that completely wrong and someone else knows better. If you have an idea I'd be glad to know!!

When you really put some thought into it, the entire Evilious Chronicles is a beautifully created story that no one will ever be able to succeed(with the exception of some authors, of course).

The first Project "MA" happened before the twins even existed. The second one was when the twins started to exist. The rest are the years when the kids were growing up. In 013, the seventh project happened. Irina and Elluka fight for the "MA" title. Levianta and all the surrounding countries were burned. A year after: 014, the twins killed Eve.

I answered this on tumblr, but here's a simple way of explaining: The twin gods are 'LevianBehomo'. Hansel and Gretel were to be born as vessels of sorts for the twin gods, but it's not defined if LevianBehomo ever took over the children or not.

I think we got a hint of answer with the hebrew alphabet. Letters originally all have a meaning. There is a french website explaining both letters (and all the others from the Hebrew alphabet). Basically, Mem is related to waters and has two forms (open and close). Associated with the number 40. "Open or close, it can evolved and make evolved the matter or the humans". Aleph (sound coming from the abyss of being) is like the division of the two primary waters. Related to duality and unity.

Last revolver is not wrath... and the Twins killing Eve took place in the deep forest... which havent been touched by many people another thing... the Sins songs did not take place in the same time... Duke Venomania take the first... later is Rilliane (SoE) and Gallerian Marlon (Greed) is the last I don't know about the other 4 , sry you could notice that Marlon is a judge in the United State (Lucifenia + Marlon and so on) while Rilliane take place in her own country Lucifenia

Adam's mother is the Prophetess Maria Moonlit. She's the one that prophesied the end of the country and the need of the two gods.

According to the Genzai Monogatari Booklet, there were seven attempts on finding "MA". The seventh attempt was decided with a battle between Elluka Chikrasia and Irina Clockworker. Elluka won and got the title. But the great war between the two caused a great fire disaster that destroyed the Lab and engulfed the land. Therefore giving no more chances to find any other "MA".

This is very true, as far as we know the first time they met was in Escape of Salmhoffer, but as we know Mothy is fond of setting up a set of events and waiting for us to interpret them one way, before releasing another song which adds new information that completely changes what actually happened xD However, as someone else has added information about Maria Moonlit in another comment, my wacky theory is probably wrong xD

I was sure Irina and Elluka were once both the same person, "IR", and were split into Elluka and Irina after being diagnosed with some kind of syndrome ("Hereditary Evil" or something like that) When they recombine and the resultant person is called "MA" in Capriccio Farce, is that just to reflect the fact she is such a powerful magician?

Unfortunately, Music Box of Remembrance, the song which tells of Elluka and Iriina's battle, is set in the Year 013. The chronology begins with Moonlit Bear taking place in Year 001, and this song is clearly set -before- that. I don't think we know for sure exactly how Elluka is involved with Project MA.
