i watch on of this judge bao episodes by accident a year ago and i got obsessed but sadly i could not download them with the english traduction because it had been from youtube, im so glad to have found this channel, as a peruvian spanish native speaker its very different from any series made her and i love it !!!
Judge in real life who love in real justice, hate corruption, don't care elite power of bad elite peoples, and no double standard like Judge Bao. They will be great and best judge in their country.
The artful virtue in this show is incredible. It transports one back to the Middle Kingdom itself as if we were witnesses to history as it took place. Simply outstanding.
I can't tell you the amount of times I went to my grandparent's house and my grandma had this show on the entire time with Vietnamese dubs. I remember not understanding everything and being extremely sleepy 😂
Lmao i was the same as well. Even though I am chinese, i am a first generation american. so i fell asleep , but this is good memory because my mom would watch this endlessly. My mom passed away already.
this 90 mins movie is condensed / extracted from the original TV series of 12 episodes of 45 mins each. So it's a 6-to-1 condensation and many details of the story have been left out. But I must say this is done as well as it could be, and especially the English subtitles which are very very well done.
I watched the older version of this with my grandma when I was 5 or something. I had no idea what was going on but I enjoy watching TV with her....plus she made the best snacks.
@@NurulLim1 ...my favorites from what I remembered were her handmade ginger candies, red bean buns, steamed mochi sprinkled with sweetened ground peanuts, chilled sweet mini mochi, little taro fried pies(pancakes 🤔Not sure what the English translation is), & when it's just the 2 of us she'd make fried chicken. Come to think of it, I was one well fed grandchild when it came down to watching tv with grandma.

In the old version I watched, she never recovered her sight. Instead she was able to recognise an imposter sent to test her because he lacked a mole on the back of his neck, a secret about the emperor only three people knew about. That was the actual final proof that she was his real mother. She slapped the imposter the moment she felt the back of his neck and discovered the mole was missing.

Yes; this is just a fictionalized version of him. I doubt he had a crescent moon birthmark on his forehead, but the Chinese like to give their heroes all sorts of interesting physical attributes.
This is definitely one of the most well-produced Taiwanese dramas out there. Not to mention that it was popular throughout the Chinese-speaking world, particularly in Hong Kong and among overseas Han communities.
Thanks for uploading and subbing this, but this isn't the complete episode! A lot of good parts were cut out! (Not going to give you a thumbs down either)
Thanks for this comment. I have watched several series twice and the first editions were best. The reediting reduced the cohesive sensitivity and first translations conveyed more atmosphere than the updated proper English translation.
I had some Kung Fu training before... The older ones can (fly).. actually theirs are like effortless jumping on the roofs.... but it takes years of training to achieve...
She hung herself to death but what is really annoying me is why the part that is about the Execution of Pang Yu got cut off! I mean, I really like see someone like PangYu got punished in the extreme way.
