The first problem is that electro is kind of a dendro relying element. The addition of aggravate and hyperbloom has made electro a very good element. The proof of the importance of dendro is that before dendro was added, electro was considered the worst element apart from geo (and maybe cryo) Second problem is that she has the passive that makes her elemental reaction reliant and that passive is a pretty massive damage boost. (Although she was capable of making a few reactions in the video). However I do not disagree on the fact that she may be a bit too underwhelming after the addition of the last dps s. Which, I find pretty annoying yet understandable.

I'm also shocked but I assume she's rather an enabler/driver rather than a true hypercarry. In hoyo other game, hsr. They released boothill who's break effect driver and next character firefly is also gonna be a break effect driver. Some people are also complaining, saying they're nothing without certain support for be but in be team their damage are probably one of the highest among team comps.

weapon r5 doesn't add much, considering the char is at c0, being able to solo is good enough, r1 and r5 make minimal difference here

The thing is... in here she's C0 compared to Arle who's C6. Addionally Clorinde's first passive need reactions and gives a good chunk dmg buff. They could've fixed it with just putting a Baizhu c2 without artifacts and at that would've given her the reaction she needed without extra dmg

@@itsj0hnnypr my assumption was that he was talking about her overall strength and not her c0 solo performance, most characters don't look impressive c0 solo

Clorinde main damage source is her talent which requires to proc reaction. It is like trying evaluated Raiden damage without reolve stacks.

Yah, when she's solo she can't trigger a1 passive. We can atleast include a character like Thoma so that she can still deal elemental reaction with her full potential while Thoma's damage is not that much.
