No worries. English words are accumulating in her head and she knows mom goes crazy with joy when Elena speaks English. But when it feels like you are just going round and round in the same place, you may want to introduce some word games. So you go “Elena let’s play a game. What’s this? ( pointing to the hand). It is a hand. Next time we will play this game with Daddy.” You teach her body parts vacabulary like this. The important thing is that it has to be in the form of games not lessons. This way you can teach her body parts, objects in the house (chair, table etc). When you go out you can teach ‘road, bridge, building, shops.’ Her English world will expand. It has to be fun and has to be stopped when she doesn’t feel like it. Playing the game with Daddy will be a great motivation for her.
One more important thing. When she learns basic vocabulary, let’s keep things simple and set basic goals. For example: Elena can answer these simple questions. 1. What do you like? - I like OOO. Ex. I like orange. 2. What is this? - It is OOO. Ex. It’s a spoon. If you keep to the basics, I hope she will be able to answer in FULL sentences. Again let’s do this in a relaxed and cozy environment.
