團結香港基金（基金會）、基金會轄下中國文化研究院、香港教育大學、聯合出版集團及香港商務印書館早前聯合舉辦「燦爛那一刻-成就你我的核心價值觀」系列講座第六講，邀請到北京航空食品有限公司名譽主席、世界貿易中心協會終身名譽理事、中華基金中學創校校監伍淑清博士，以及拔萃女書院校長、香港學界體育聯會董事會主席、全國婦聯港區特邀代表執委劉靳麗娟校長，就教育及立身處世的價值觀進行深度對談。
伍淑清博士認為，在一國兩制下，兩文三語的授課方式，使學生能背靠祖國並走向世界。她又指立身處世應活出自我、腳踏實地、實事求是。
劉靳麗娟校長表示教育使人快樂，教與學能讓師生共同成長。她強調為人勤奮十分重要，一分耕耘，一分收穫，每天皆應積極地生活。

Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF), Academy of Chinese Studies, The Education University of Hong Kong, Sino United publishing (Holdings) Limited and The Commercial Press, recently co-organized the sixth lecture of the "The Radiant Moments - Achieving Our Core Values" series. The lecture invited Dr Wu Suk Ching, Honorary Chairman, Hong Kong Beijing Air Catering Limited, Lifetime Honorary Board Member, World Trade Centers Association, and Founding School Supervisor, The Chinese Foundation Secondary School, and Mrs Stella Kun Lai-Kuen Lau, Headmistress, Diocesan Girls’ School, The Board Chairman, the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation, and All-China Women’s Federation Executive Committee Representative for Hong Kong , as guest speakers for an in-depth dialogue on education and values of life.
Dr Wu shared that under ‘One Country, Two System’, by adopting biliteracy and trilingualism in school, students could leverage in China and engage themselves globally. She continued that living your life, being practical, and seeking truth from facts were of vital importance.
Mrs Lau expressed that education made one happy, and meanwhile, teaching and learning led to mutual growth of teachers and students. By stating that no mill, no meal, she emphasized the significance of diligence and the need for living positively every day.
