There was a black cat that always visited my porch and would happily snuggle with me for hours at a time. A couple of months ago she paid me one last visit and then got up and walked off while I was in the middle of petting her. We found her body in the yard the next day. I know how it feels. I have black cat too three times. I was devasitated when my first black cat die. Then not long our family adopt another black kitten. We grew up together. When i was in the high school i must let him go once again. The third one came few month before i went to college. Its torturous to remember them. Kohaku Merry is a TOP tier Utau and kyaami is has TOP tier tuning skills. I still remember listening to this song a few years back at the airport, waiting for my flight. This cover has aged really well and I sometimes forget that this isn't a real person that's singing.
WOW! I'm stunned! I'm absolutely stunned at every cover you do and how you tune each UTAU (and Vocaloid). The mix was superb! mixing two different voicebanks into the off vocal was smooth!
I think this song is about a girl that got turned into a cat and doesn't know how to hunt for food to feed herself, so she tries to call out to someone to adopt her but no one did, in the end she starves to death having spent all her energy meowing to the people that walked past. I have no idea how to interpret the beginning part though... Also keep in mind that this is my own interpretation of this song.

+Jirai +kyaami i just want to blurt out my opinion & analysis on the vocaloid and utauloid's difference i'm just a fan of u both that feels a little melancholic seeing the difference between the two below this comment is some rants i'm thinking about, so if u guys don't want to read it it's ok but if u read it, it'll mean a lot to me . . . . . . . . . . I'm a huge Luka fan and I've thought of this long ago, but i guess it's inevitable tho that an UTAU's voicebank, in voice production, will be superior towards a vocaloid's voicebank. If tuned by the same person, with the same basic knowledge of the respective voicebanks, the utauloid will be far more realistic & smooth on the transition compared to a vocaloid. this is not because of the voca provider's voice is lacking in quality, no. each of them are trained & experienced in voice control & recording as to produce the highest voice quality in real life. but the sad thing is those voices will always be assigned to a more general-kind of music, music that almost everyone can hear, but not master; thus reducing their diversity potential and mastery in one branch of voice type. the different case applies to an UTAU, because it doesn't come from a huge corporation like crypton or something, they can specialize them in many ways, following the type of songs they want to cover/create. this is because an UTAU's recording method is a tad different than that of a vocaloid. they can add a breath to a sound recording for a specific song, or adding a minute note transition that almost no vocaloid can match in precision. the quality of those Initial and finishing tunes of each syllable in an UTAUloid, added with a pitch-perfect breath positioning & a voicebank recording that allows very minute note transition in between syllables, assuring the position of each voicebanks of UTAUs superior towards the more generic-type Vocaloid voicebank. It's making me think what the hell the people at Crypton, Internet co and the other companies are doing with those gazillion dollars they make every month. in conclusion, it's making me sad that hearing an UTAUloid makes me hearing a vocaloid (how do i say this...) a tad bit inferior than the former, i just wish there is a day when a vocaloid can stand toe-to-toe with an utauloid as equals
Andre Hartono I know this is an incredibly late reply but I agree completely. It’s sad that a free music software has got such better results compared to a software that costs over $200 plus the extra $500 for Vocaloids. It also seems that the singers recording themselves are actually putting more effort into the pitch and syllable banks. I’m not saying that the vocaloid singers don’t put effort in because that’s completely wrong but it’s noticeable in the voices. I used UTAU the other day and noticed that each voice is so different and it sounds like each voice has so much soul and that’s something that I’m afraid Vocaloid as a whole will never achieve
