Thanks, ぐらいんど！！ While it feels so great to be back in town, everything including Taiko feels so different mostly because of COVID. I still have a lot to work on my drumming formation mainly due to my button brain. Hahahahaha. Other than that, so fantastic to be back!!!

@@AmeNiki109 How long are you staying? And will you grind the dojo at all? I’ve been told it’s been extended this season so there’s more time it seems. I’m grinding for Meijin again haha

@@user-oj5bb6su3r I’m back and staying for good to persue my dream of becoming a big RU-vidr. And yes, I will be grinding back more into Daní Dojo while I’m at it. Do you have any potential tips on handwork / coordination when drumming with the Bachi?

@@AmeNiki109 That’s amazing, best of luck with that man! Make sure you have a backup plan in case youtube doesn’t work out tho haha For me it’s just… practice. Play a bunch of 7/8 star songs and regain that muscle memory, and it’ll come back naturally. Make sure you grip in a way that you still have control over your sticks, while having adequate rebound when you hit the drum. This reduces strain on the hand and it makes hitting long patterns much easier. Repetition is key honestly, and i know you’ll regain the hang of it soon. One big thing - make sure you warm up before you go ham to reduce strain. I like to play a credit or two of slow 8 star tracks and do mostly full alt to warm up. Bad Apple is my go-to for that lol
