Underrated, these old songs…

I play D&D, and my character is on a quest to avenge his only friend in that world, who accepted him despite his appearance and race. I was imagining this music playing while he was battling the warlock he’s been searching for in an epic final clash between good and evil. It literally made me tear up. My character is very utilitarian, even towards other people, and rarely shows any emotion. Yet this song captures the feelings he has felt in the past, along his journey, and in this moment. It has soft parts which I’m imagining is where my character would be remembering the good times he had with his friend, and is actually showing real emotion: sadness. After receiving a barrage of unavoidable attacks while not laying a scratch on his adversary, my character has a moment of weakness and fears that he won’t achieve his goal, the spirit of his friend physically manifests beside him, giving him strength and courage. My character becomes indomitable, and together they take the evil man down. It’s really emotional for me. Thank you, cresentia.

Most touhou orchestra arrangements sound like you’re in war or something like that
