This character appeared briefly on one stage in one of the spin offs, had no lines of dialogue, and then had nothing else written about her? Yeah she's got a dedicated following and about 100ish fanworks about her life and interactions with the more well known touhou cast, and is shipped with Marisa for some reason

I would've never guessed this was touhou...

Right? I barely know anything about the PC-98 games, but thanks to Akatsuki Records, I now recognize three characters, namely Mima, Sariel, and Konngara.

Ну не знаю... Года 4 я точно слежу за релизами, но не сказать, что песен стало больше. Клипов - может быть, но у них раньше и канала не было, всё выходило на дисках в лучшем случае, а в целом песни они делают примерно в том же темпе

コンガラさんは東方project第1作「東方靈異伝」の地獄ルートラスボスです！！(魔界ルートラスボスのサリエルさんのアレンジ曲も暁Recordsさんが去年公開されています！) 靈異伝での設定が少なくて、(そもそもセリフがない)あまりはっきりとしたことは言えないのですが、元ネタの矜羯羅さんは仏様(不動明王の右腕)で、まさに「地獄に仏」です！！ そして性別も不明なんですけど、KONNGARAGIRLではタイトルやMVのイラストから考えると女性として描かれていますね…！

また、二つ名は「Astral Knight」(星の剣士、またテーマ曲と同じように星幽剣士とも解釈されます)で、七夕の日に公開されたのにはちゃんと意味があるんじゃないかなと私は考えています！

@@R-NITO 靈異伝では、5面ボスの門番「シンギョク」を倒すと地獄に進むか魔界に進むかを選ぶことができて、それぞれのルートでボスが違います！ 地獄ルートでは10面にMima(魅魔)、15面にキクリ、20面でコンガラ 魔界ルートでは10面にユウゲンマガン、15面にエリス、20面でサリエルです！

@@RealCirnoFumo from what I have seen, there is a very heavy Team Jesus aspect to it. It's corny, and I want to see more of that in general. If you want, I can suppose that this song is like the latter half of the journey of disillusionment in Buddhism, what wuji is; or what truly it is to be born of water, if you like Jesus. To be happy, you not only need to live in a world of torment, and toil, you must not let go of ideals or aspiration. Why listen to the hopeless and worthless when it comes to hope or values? I say to you, let the dead bury the dead. (What value is there without cost. You can have life without death, but there is neither without such values.) Though the song is making a stronger statement about that being necessary for not only you, but probably your kindred and beloved to die happy. Something to note is that blood shared and spilt together is thicker than water shared between family. That line about seeking glory for the family, and seeing a darkness inside of it. Ideally your family, kin, would be supportive of that, but only certain family structures are like that. One that is incredibly paternalistic, and selective. Not in the sense of how oriental families are controlling, but in the sense that you acknowledge the person for what they are. Being able to see the light in the crevices of each sculpture.
