this one feels wonderfully ominous, danger lurking under the surface, ready to break out at any second. the tension of the unknown. i expected for all hell to break lose, to be honest, but given how loud my headphones were set, I'm glad it didn't come crashing down on me.

the first time I heard the panning of the synth at 0:58 I was sure this was going to be a banger the trumpet flutter at 1:38 is stupid good too AND I've said this before but I didn't expect the asian instruments to work but they really do

Your induction into 11th Hour is well deserved. I will definitely be picking up this album. For the piece itself: The arrangement is amazing, but some of the instrumentation feels buried. The trumpets and accompaniment strings sound far away from the rest of the piece, and that somewhat undercuts the progression.
