This is the first time I made a metal arrangement and I'm so glad it's featured on Takamachi Walk's debut album!!
Some of you may know that I was a huge fan of punk, rock and metal before I got into Touhou, but when I started producing music I naturally went the electronic route, as I found it easier to make at the time.
I really gotta thank Takamachi Walk for the opportunity and their amazing work, with a special big up to Cepheid for mastering my track.

My dear God, with this track and, in principle, the entire album "Wither", it would be possible to make the most awesome series or anime based on this game, it is so strong and emotional that I simply have no words!

Being from Finland I'm quite fond of our industrial metal band Turmion Kätilöt so finding this banger hits home pretty hard, very nice work!

Thank you!! didn't know about this band but I just listened to Kyntövuohi and it rocks so hard damn. Your metal is just too strong! I'm not sure when it'll be released, but actually I'm working on a Wintersun inspired touhou arrangement!!

I'm glad to have found the origin of this legendary mix! Long have I played this when reading climactic battles in fantasy/scifi novels, especially when there's some kind of Ace-Combat-esque air/space combat. A point that could be improved, however, is that there is some kind of high-pitched ringing from 0:50 on that is especially noticeable and tinnitus-inducing when played through headphones.

Actually I have a WIP that's very melodic metal oriented but I don't know when that's gonna be released yet. Anyway I'm also excited to make new stuff more similar to that!

Top Pure Furies arrangements. You can't get better then this. This is easy a song that hits every itch of mine, not only in arrangements but songwriting in general. This is how you make a metal arrangment perfe tly! Utterly incredible, top of it's class, G.O.A.T. amazing, perfect. The only think bad about this song is that Its not on Spotify :'-(

I missed that :o Thank god you also notified on twitter ^^ Metal is not really what i'm into but I love this theme :) (Also I know it's not only metal and I appreciate the hybrid genre ahah) Also I really like 2:52 , it made me dream for an instant about the impurity of this world which is also creating its beauty. I cannot overstate just how great this piece of metal is.. one of the best pure furies remix out there and one of the best touhou remix altogether ! Please consider investing a little in the metal/metalcore route, you have undeniably a huge talent for it🤘

@@Sieudiver Hope u get to see this. To this day this is one of my favorite touhou arrangments there. Hope life is treating you well, you have an insane talent for metal stuff. This amazing mix of progressive heavy guitar with the electronics is something I have yet to find anywhere

@@SilverAlex92 Thank you for the kind words, I sincerely treasure comments like these. While I certainly have my own style, I take inspiration from all the music I listen to. Linkin Park, especially their album Reanimation with the way they incorporated electronic elements. Threat Signal, and Mass Hysteria's song Positif à Bloc for the metal riffs. The lead Synths I use mainly come from my love for trance music in general, but this isn't something that hasn't been done before. Someone in the comments here mentioned the band Turmion Kätilöt who I didn't know back then but also uses synths in a similar way. I hope I can release more tracks like this one in the future as well!

@@Sieudiver I didnt notice the Linkin Park inspirations but I love them so much too, so I guess is not surprising I love your stuff too. Ill check on that synth band too. And yeah I'd love to hear more from you
