@@E-F_Ronner At least in 4u. all bows where 1-3 back hops for 1x spread having 3-4 distance for 1.5. normal being 3-5, pierce 3-6 backhops World changed this so that it's actually variable. And Spread was given no minimum crit distance And then Close range coating gave all ammo no minimum distance. Hence why All spread bows in Rise get Close range boost, which gives increased damage at the cost of making crit distance smaller
It's not, eh pretty sure crit distance always have been the same up to mhrise except in mhw because type shot bow didnt exist, but generally you dont want to shoot spread extremely closely, maybe around 1 back hop is good enough, but 3 hop is probably too far, even in mhw this is the same, mhrise too, thats why some hardcore bow player use reload speed 2 and occasionally switch their coatings between close and power coat when they are too close in order to save power coat without ballistic skill.
@@manikaditha6308 I wish we had a training dummy in old world for this, but at least from what I found on a 3u forum, all bow crit distance started at 3 backhops away. and from there it was veried for hoe long it was. then again that was 3u...
@@DESMal definitely not 3 hop at least for spread, thats too far. My main was bow in p3rd and rapid bow crit distance is actually start around 2 hop, i occasionally use pierce too and tried spread like maybe once or twice for experimenting and you barely hit a thing with spread if you hit around 3 or 4 hop. Thats probably a pierce critical distance, not spread.
