This video brings tears to my eyes, I'm - SS or Quit - and I'm so happy to see that a lot of people have respect for my gameplay, I really enjoyed this video, thank you so much for this. There were a couple of reasons why I stopped playing and most of them are not important anymore, but the fact that I'm not even close to what I used to be stops me for coming back, I can't SS anything probably because I'm getting old lol, it was a good ride but I won't play this game anymore. Ctb doesn't have timing Windows so the big fruits are considered as a 300 the "Juice Drop" is considered a 100 and the Droplets are consideres as a 50 2:59

He was definitely one of the players I looked up to and one of the reasons as to why I started my journey to 100% acc, he’s a true legend

Idk how many of you know this, but I believe the player with the most SS ranks right now is Zalaria. She has 51,620 silver SS ranks at this time & her top play is a 273 silver SS rank. If you get the chance please do check her out because I believe she deserves more recognition for her dedication!!

3:02 In CTB, the note hits don't determine accuracy. There are three sizes of notes, and missing any of them would result in an acc drop. The 50s are the smallest kind of note, and still need to be caught for an SS, but count as 50s.

to add to 0:46 you can also get a silver S or SS with flashlight

He was and continues to be a major inspiration for me. Till this day, even though my approach has changed, I continue to strive to SS my maps using PF.

3:00 as a player who plays both std and catch, the 50 are small droplets which you can miss and won't affect your combo

I got a double silver ss without hidden. Used flashlight, hard rock and double time. Pretty sure its just a multi or hidden switch.

I just recently found out that flashlight can also be used to get a silver S or SS. I don't know if I was just stupid but it's good to know because I prefer FL over HD

A Shakugan No Shana map made one of the best osu players quit. My favorite anime and the first map I downloaded ended one osu player. Thats an insane coincidence

This inspired me to go back to osu! And start playing the game again even tho i stoped for whole 2 months

such familiar name. always having a mixed feelings to always see this guy's name on the leaderboard, like looking at a rival and inspiration at the same time. what doesnt change is my respect doe, ss only playstyle requires INSANE commitment. i know, cause i used to play like that since i joined (2013). I always idolized super high accuracy player like Winshley, bearizm, Bikko etc so i wanted to become 100% acc player too. ofc as a noob newcomer i'd then prioritize playing easier diffs with mods, so i'd also appear at the leaderboards and occasionally met him there. it was a pride to be on the leaderboard for me, but it's super frustrating to always keep the acc perfect. I gave up around 2015 because the sheer ammount of dedication is tiring. looking at him is like a glimpse of my old dream, and a slap that it's 'doable', yet i'm too pathetic to do that. hats off to him from a washed ss player haha
