I think it's the reverse for me. I loved Feena so much on this game, and when I saw the ending, it hurt me because I understood she couldn't be with Adol. Ys Origin then had WAY mor eimpact, especially when you notice that the Claw is actualy Toal, and you link it with Toal Shrine and everything clicks into place. Ys I and II should be an Ys to be remade on current Ys Engine. I think this game is the second best game after Lacrimosa of Dana's plot (Because I think her story is as tragic if not more). Also, Origin is to focus more on Reah, not Feena.

@@advmx3 Nah, Ys1&2 Chronicles+ is perfect as it is. There is no need for it to get remade into current 3D engine because it's a classic Falcom game. Just enjoy it as it is because you won't get to see this type of game ever again in the current 3D-dominated gaming market.

The freaking only way in the series. Even in the new games, he never talks, usually the game says what's he's saying or you can choose what to say for him. He can even speak but it's your choice to decide what he will say in the end, it's not "him". I think this time is the only freaking way he actually said anything without a player input or theg ame saying he did something xD

Ys VI probably had the best anime opening of all in Ys series!

It's because it was drawn by collaborated internal Falcom artists. It's a very common arts from Falcom's promotional arts and Trails series.

Yeah, I really hope so. Once thing I don't like is that this game is just a graphical remake of Ys 1 and 2, and retain the classic quest-driven style of story in past versions, which I really hate because it didn't feel like there is a story progression. Also, there is hardly any screen time to explore the relationship between Adol and Feena, because we never see their relationship progression that made them love each other. All we know that, Adol rescues Feena, and she just stay inside Jeba's house for the rest of the game and Ys II until near the end with frequent hints of Feena and Reah being the Goddess of Ys. It's baffled me at how a lot of Ys fan regarded her as best Ys heroine, where she hardly has any screentime and relationship progression with Adol compare to later heroines.

No, the narrator of Oath in Felghana said Adol had more than a hundread of volumes of diaries. This means there's more than a hundread of adventures before he got old and settled in. However, in Ys6 we get to understand who are the Winged people, and they aren't Gods. They are a specific race that were able to transfer their souls to eternal bodies created from Emellas. They are ageless and imortal. But not gods. They thrieved with Technology, they created the Ark of Naphistin, the Mask of the Sun, the Archives that could control time and future itself, and the Black Pearl. After tons of shit happening, their civilization entered a depression, a Dark age, something really bad happened, and only a few of them survived: Two Twin Sisters, Edeel, Genos and Alma. Alma decided to take care of the Ark of Naphistin, that could control the oceans, Eldeel decided to take care of the Mask of the Sun and the Archives, Genos got to Felghana to seal Galbaran, and Feena and Reah were put in charge of the Black Pearl. But of all of them the two were too young. Anyway, I don't think Feena would ever come back. The black pearl need to be contained, and it's impossible to destroy it. They would probably turn back to stone eventually to stay there, containing the pearl forever.

Which means Feena and Reah hadn't become White Emelas yet because White Emelas can still be destroyed by another Black opposite one with enormous force applied just like what happened to Ernst when he destroyed Alma's seal within the Ark. Reah and Feena's seal may be long lasting and strong but it can only last for 700 years. They will soon wake up if the seal is broken though.

....Yea, I agree...However, if it gives them an excuse to set and end the whole YS series in "YS"...Meh, I don't mind... Who knows, Feena might have been saved by Adol in the future or something! Wishful thinking but still, one can still hope.

Even back in the 80s Falcom teased players with bunch of Adol's coming adventures on Xandria, Celceta and Altago on the manuals. They are staying true to their original material by providing players with those games they promised back in 80s.

I originally thought this, but on the other hand, it could be in reverse. Adol was always a dude traveling around wanting to be a hero. However, his adventures in Esteria basically showed him how crappy people could be. His adventures in Ys could basically be the catalyst galvanizing him to always be a true hero every single time.

well the story in ys are about him going at adventure and save the world until he died nothing wrong i guess i cant wait what kind of journey adol has in the future

Because it’s the remake of the 1987 game. The technology at the time was limited and they decide to keep it while upgrading only the graphics. Anyway, I find the bump system very funny in its simplicity.

@@djsangre However, the gameplay of Ys VI, Oath in Felghana, and Ys Seven is quite challenging as this game though.

@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx Ys VI is indeed hard, the only one I couldn't beat 100% because of some very hard jumps. Felghana is a lot of fun, while 7 introduced the party system and I loved it. It's very close to Celceta, but I think the story, especially the finale is better in 7. Anyway, 8 is the best one and I can't wait to play 9! But, Ys 1&2 still surprise me because they aged very well. Ys 5 is garbage, gameplay wise. I hope in a remake.

@@djsangre I already 100% Ys VI except for the Last 2 Movies I've yet to unlock. I accessed the chest from the Cave Lake and it only contains a Blue Potion. Talk about a waste of a Dash jump. The rest of the chests that aren't accessible without the Dash Jumps are : Capla Water Gold Tabula And More Capla Waters
