@@kurtsworld4609 it doesnt work with all plastic! any plastic packaging that's not flimsy or crumbles should work. tape it in a box with a hole on the top and on the side to view the hologram, and bam! you got a 3d miku!

If you put your TV on top of a wooden box with a giant slanted piece of glass you can have a close to life size vocaloid in your living room but it is difficult to do

2025 miku expo, crunchyroll: we didn’t have the budget for a LED or hologram this year, just like last year… *cough cough* we do and we did *cough cough* so this time we bought nokias! Vip patrons get free pink nokias, but it does not display the concert! And glow sticks are now $400 dollars and we only have 20 in stock, for your convenience of course!

OMG thank you so much!!!, Just to let you know I will also be using your Ten thousand Stars and Senbonzakura video as well as this one. My concert is on July and I wanna make sure it turns out well as ill be performing with a live band behind miku. I also want to say that you make awesome MMDs and I will be happy to use more of them in my future hologram concerts. Keep up the amazing work :)

I hope its not too much but, Could I request You do a mmd animation of Kimagure Mercy with miku in the same design as this video, if not the one used in the concert? I also plan to perform this song too

unfortunately due to the limitations of current technology, the concept of a hologram projection of Miku being displayed at multiple angles hasn’t been able to happen. You can make a pyramid of glass though, place it on top of a video such as this, with four angles of the model being projected at the top, bottom, left and right of the video for each angle and you can achieve this. I don’t think this has been done on a larger scale yet though!

late reply but the miku concerts afaik, along with every other commercial large scale use of "holograms" are just pepper's ghost, meaning one angle like this without any "true" depth.

Crypton works with SEGA and Marza Animation Planet to make their own renders using their own professional assets for the show. They look way more polished and professional than videos you can find on here (though we try our best and I’d say they’re pretty good), but videos such as this are just imitations to try and replicate the videos they use. You can actually find some of the actual videos they use for the show, but there’s very few available (e.g ‘The Snow White Princess Is’ had it’s video put on a concert DVD as a bonus video which was then ripped and uploaded to RU-vid! You can find a remastered version of it on my channel!)

A pyramid plastic is needed to be placed on your mobile device. Given that the background is black, the plastic can be seen through. This leaves only the colored parts projection on the plastic and thus creating a hologram effect.
