Hey everyone, In tonights walk, we start at the Kennedy Square, then work our way to the Little Caesars Arena and Google. As the rain starts to pick up, we head to the Detroit Tigers Comerica Park Stadium. From Comerica Park, we walk to Greek Town then down to the River where you have a pretty view of Canada and the General Motors Building and more. Hope you all enjoy the This Rainy Walk.
Hi, .. You did a great Job.. You were so close to the Detroit/Windsor tunnel.. You actually walked on top of it ? You also came close to Cobo Hall/TCF by the Detroit Princess. All in all your walkthrough was very well done !🌎👍
Wish we could get some rain in Cali, it rarely rains here. Your response is so beautiful. wow 4 seasons, we only get 2 / winter and summer. just say summer and summer. never cold here. Love the video of the the "D"
Detroit is a beautiful place, Los Angeles only have 2 season winter and summer. Detroit get all 4 seasons, and that is a beautiful thing. and the culture is there.
Actually Losangeles is sunny all year long. But in the Midwest you get four seasons.i grew up in Detroit so this downtown content is not really exciting to me.But I been living in california for 18 years. The government of Detroit and dearborn have been slacking off on floodwater retention basins for more than 30 years.
Indeed,But I Losangeles really don't have a cold winter.Winter to me is cold and snowfall.I been a Californian all of my adult life but grew up in Detroit. And occasionally do snowplowed there when I visit. So I can't agree with you on that buddy.I will take Southern Californian weather over Detroit.
If you talking about motown museum yeah it's there. But what do you mean by culture? I grew up in Detroit but have been a Californian all of my adult life.Detroit has a rich arabic Muslim culture is that what you mean by culture. Are you talking about motown museum? Detroit still has alot of problems within the government. The major problem is the floodwaters and lack of funding to prevent it.
@@razorsharplifestyle101hard9 sooooooo go watch some California videos and get off on those since it's apparently so much better. Why waste time here? 🤔
Detroit has such a unique feel, vibe or atmosphere. I'm not sure, if I can describe it, but this city feels differently from the other american cities... Like!
Not all of Detroit is bad like how the media likes to portray it as this "Gangland urban war torn city." The Eastside is actually the more sketchy and bad side of the city while the Westside is "somewhat" chill.
I'm 70 now in Florida. Thanks so much for the walking tour of my home town.❤ l do miss it so. What a gem.Emily Gail wood be proud of you. I miss my Lafayette coney and strohs.thanks. now go soak your feet😮😮☺
As a English man I love downtown detroit. Looks clean, love the old architecture. And furtistic feel even though its old. Plus I love techno. Pump money into this city it can be saved.
That's downtown detroit so it's a business district. The residential areas of Detroit is still slothed out with Millennials and gen zers on the wrong path.
@@eduardolima7534 Exactly,If you know your generation and the one below you then you can imagine the knucklehead females and dude roaming around showing off to each other even in Detroit neighborhoods. The government is shitty in Detroit.Dont let them downtown business district video fool you.The government have not provided 285 million funding to prevent floodwaters over 35 years or more but the youtube guy will not tell you that buddy.

Both of your recent Detroit walks have been amazing, but I really enjoyed this night walk in the rain. The colors were stunning! Thank you for two beautiful videos showing Detroit for the gem that it is!
Wow thank you! Yea i really liked this walk in the rain! It was really nice. My battery died a few times but i didn't mind being out a little later. It was great. So happy you liked it.
Don't be overly excited. The governor of Detroit and dearborn have been slacking off on floodwaters dention basins for over 30 years. So the streets and basement flood during heavy rainfall. And your property getting water damage.
My good friend used to spend a lot of time in Detroit and misses it. They said they loved this video. It was fun to watch while they told me history and stories

This video is beautiful ❤ I was blessed to live in the D 24 years and I was blessed to leave but some days I miss it so I search for videos like this! Thank YOU.!
Wow I lived in Detroit 35 years ago and I remember the city being so lively and streets always heavy with traffic and crowded with people. Now it’s like a big empty ghost town! But downtown is Beautiful as always!
A big beautiful corpse. Downtown anywhere without people is just dead. I'm old enough to remember cities where you almost couldn't move til 10 PM. This is just bizarre.
It’s probably a late midweek night and it’s raining. I’ve been to Chicago on a night like this and it looks the same as far as not many people being out. There’s plenty of nights where downtown Detroit is bustling with people. What’s “bizarre” is that downtown Detroit looks great yet people like you still find something negative to say
Don't disrespect our city if you been thru what our city has been you wouldn't even be alive! Unless you've walked in her shoes keep your negative comments to your self!
@@raphaelhernandez4088 “ Don’t disrespect our city 🤮😭😭😭😢”. It’s called having an opinion. No one needs to tell you that. You’re probably old enough to understand that it’s okay to form your own opinion. Listen, some parts of Detroit seem super cool, but there are obviously pros and cons within any city, state, country, town, etc
@@raphaelhernandez4088 And one more thing, they weren’t disrespecting Detroit. It’s dead. It’s quiet. It’s nighttime. DUH. Not a bad thing for a city to be dead and quiet. That’s not a negative connotation.
