This was interesting. Couple of questions, please: So, women and children MUST travel in the specially-designated car and are not permitted in gold class? Other than being less densely populated, what are the benefits of gold class? Do all trains on the red line have a gold class? Is there a restroom on every car? (I am old and this is kinda important.) Are you allowed to bring beverages on the train? (I am American and gotta have my Starbucks.) If I am taking the red line to/from the airport, room for my luggage? I know, lots of questions.
1. It is not mandatory to travel in the section intended for women and children, they can travel in any part of the train, but men are prohibited from entering the carriage intended for women and children. 2. and 3. All trains have gold class and are equipped with more luxurious and comfortable seats with more space, also from the gold class you have a view from the cabin, since the trains do not have a driver, before that, due to the double price, it will rarely happen that there are crowds in the gold class, in any part of the day. 4. You don't have a restroom on the train, but you have at every station. 5. During Ramadan it is forbidden to eat and drink anywhere in public, but it is certainly forbidden to eat and drink on the train... as well as many other activities... 6. Sure you will find places for luggage on the train but the train network is not very developed and if you have a lot of luggage and you say you are a bit older, I suggest you to take a taxi, it is extremely, extremely cheap.... 😉
@@RailwayNetworks Thanks for the information. You’re right, I am older, so if I am headed to the airport a car/driver sounds like a better option. I asked about the food and drink as an American, I constantly have a Starbucks vanilla latte in one hand and my iPhone in the other! 🤷♂️
