@@4KWorldWandering The mosque is one of the symbols of Islam. The DNA of Turkey's glory is Islam, and the DNA of Turkey's bankruptcy is secularism. When Turkey runs Islamic sharia well, Turkey achieves its glory. And when Turkey drifted away from Islam, history proves Turkey was in decline. The history of the Seljuks and the Ottomans is proof of that. And now Turkey's glory is being re-initiated by Erdogan.
I have last seen this square in 2001, at that time it was not pedestrian, now is all pedestraian since they made undeground transit tunnels for buses. I like how you took images from above, I think that those images were taken from a terrace. In the near future I heard that AKM (Opera House) is to have the inauguration after a completely redone, is right there in the eastern side of this square, I used to go a lot at this Opera House, I had the chance to see the stage performance of lots of valuable Turkish opera singers, the one that I admired the most is Zehra Yıldız, a soprano with an incredible voice that had the misfortune to die of celebral hemorrhage at the age of 41, here over youtube aren't left many arias that she interpreted, I hardly found one called Vissi D'arte, I absolutely love it and couldn't hold myself from making a comment over that video.
Good eye catching the opera house. When I arrived about 7 months ago, the structure was pretty bare bones. When I left (last Monday when I filmed this), it was near complete. Also everyone has told me how intense the area was before the road was run under the square, and truly now would be difficult to notice there's a highway running beneath your feet. Getting that aerial view was essential. I had to knock on a few doors, and in good Turkish hospitality, someone let me shoot from their balcony.
so beautiful♥️..Absolutely really want to go to this Mosque if i visit turky once covid pandemic is over..hope the situation back to normal soon.missing traveling so bad😢
That is not true at all, people are starving to death while Erdogan is building himself billion dollar palaces. Also if you walk behind the mosque, there are buildings in ruins, and people living in slums while million dollar units are being sold for foreigners to buy citizenship. Human right violations are being made by the President every single day, nowhere other than China, not even Iran or Russia, are journalists and free people being abducted and imprisoned. With all due respect, you are not informed and, quite possible ignorant to the situation.
wow...beautifull taksim masque 👍 very good to Mr racip tayyip erdogan solut keep going do the best for the next all muslimin and muslimah i proud thank you
I think it is important to know that he is the President of a secular country, and many of the citizens are NOT muslims. He has to do best for ALL citizens.
@@4KWorldWandering > Many Citizens aren't Muslims. Dude, what are you on? 95%+ Turks are Muslims. They may not be much religious but that's entirely different than not being Muslim. Besides, Erdogan has done way too much. This is just blatant misinformation.
Hahahaha schools? The mosques in istanbul are overcrowded. There are schools and they are continuing to build more schools universities. Don't judge everything bad when turkey opens sth new. I think you and others aren't the ministry for education or sth
@@emincan007 LOL In the ministry...??? Can´t you see what is happening here in Turkey right now: Nothing wrong with mosques, but people has to be educated. Okey, if you want this country to go back east, that is for you. Just be clear! A lot of us here don´t want this to happen, we want to have a DEMOCRACY and a civilizesd country, you know!
@@Bo-tz4nw I'm sure majority of the people identify themselves with Islam and not with the west. And in that mosque there's a library which will greatly help people who are interested in learning.
It's not controversial... Why to be controversial... It's build on a Muslim majority country on the soil of any western islamophobic country... Respect others religious sentiments too..
Our channel is full of mosque videos, beautiful mosque videos. Don't try to make this about religion, it's 100% a politically motivated decision for Erdogan to put a mosque there.
@@4KWorldWandering political decision ? Incorrect - erdogan has expressed his desire to build the taksim square mosque since the early 90s, this was a religious and spiritual decision of the Turkish people. Keep your delusional opinions to yourself….
@@haideraliibnakhlaq8823 Erdogan is a false muslim. He does not embrace the true and honest path, putting his people in prison, starving and dying. He is a criminal.
