The market is packed with vendors of various seafood and produce, but there are also many amazing restaurants throughout the market. I'd recommend wandering around, and finding a place that serves Nodoguro fish, as it's a delicious specialty of the area. There are several great places on the ground floor near the entrance of the market, or on the 2nd floor.

I want to sit on the streets of Japan, buy a can of beer at a convenience store, and then buy a chicken skewer from a cart bar and eat it! I've done that sometimes in Seoul. 😋😋😋

Nice! I loved Kanazawa. But only had 1.5 days there. Went to Omicho Market right before closing on the half-day and I just bought fruits. When I returned the following day after a day at Castle area and Kenrokuen I was full eating elsewhere (I ate Kanazawa Curry). I had a couple of days planned for Kanazawa on my next trip that was supposed to happen in several weeks to have some snow crabs. I want some crabs!!!! Looking forward to more vids. Thanks.

I have seen now a couple of dozen of your videos, but I think if you had commentary on what we are seeing, good quality here but GREAT quality there, what is being offered and shown, would be very helpful. The pans and frequent changes of focus from one thing to the next do not allow us to take in what is in the frame for so short a time. This is meant to be constructive criticism. For instance, John Daub from "Only in Japan Go" went through this market about 3 months ago and provided a running commentary. That was very useful, as well as his insights that Kanazawa has the feel of Kyoto without the crowds (moot now, but it may be useful when travel opens back up).

Oh wow! Shopping looks so amazing and fun in Japan! You can tell the Japanese walk a lot and are good walkers. This gives them the chance to walk around for long periods of time and explore all the diverse wonders of Japanese market! JApanese are sooooo healthy and intelligent, walking is soooo important and the Japanese do soooo much of it.
