I went there in 2004, spent 20+ days in Auckland and Rotorua. How i wish to have that much time out of the commitment to go there again. Really miss the people and the city calmness

It is also amazing how the 6th richest country in the world, namely the UK looks so rundown compared to NZ. So much poverty can be seen in the UK.

Right at the beginning was the airbnb I stayed in when I was in Auckland (that Milling Company building). I knew the streets looked familiar. It's a sign for me that I will return to Auckland in the future. I love NZ and Auckland is special.

Thank you so much for the video from a Kiwi living outside NZ. I miss the city so much...I had lived in the CBD when I was a university student that this video brings me so much memories XD Do you have, or are you going to record a walk tour near the police station in the city? I lived in the APT on Vincent Street and I miss it so much!

I been 4 Times in New Zealand 🇳🇿 1989 1991 1993 1995 beautiful the whole countty 🥝🥝🥝always 2 month ...i have many Souvenirs in my home in München...never FORGET 🥝❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ but today iam to old for so a long flight 🛫🛬🛩...we drove from the North Island from Auckland to Cape Reinga Lighthouse ...See the biggest Kauritree and other nice places...and rotorura Geysire...whit the ferryboat to the south Island at 24 Dezember...so lovely people everywhere ...privat Party etc ...on the ferryboat chicken 😂😭only for US...Not the New Zealand 🇳🇿 people ❤️ 😂...we drove the whole south Island...every Day in a another 🛌...it was an very great adventure...never FORGET...suddenly i can whrite a book from this journies.....🌍🌎🌏🌈🥝🥝🥝🌋🗻✈️🐧🐳🐬🦭🌳🪴🌱🌴🌿🌿🌿lovely greetings from München ♥️♥️♥️Auckland is a beautiful City...i love the City of Sails ⚓️⛵️🚤⛵️⛵️⛵️♥️♥️♥️😘

I noticed that at 13:14, there was someone walking barefoot. Do a lot of people in New Zealand walk around without shoes?

It's common for us in NZ to go to the local shop (dairy) or supermarket in barefoot. If it's a hot day like this probably was (summer in Auckland can be awful coz of humidity) barefoot is very common. Going to a shopping mall however, different story 😅

I upvoted the video, for what it´s worth. I still found Auckland surprisingly lifeless and boring, particularly if this is the very best the city can offer. Just my opinion... Best!

You are 100% correct. The City’ of Auckland is Nothing! But the Region of Auckland is waaaaaay better. The gulf, the beaches……now that’s a completely different matter. If you live in Auckland and your not getting out on the water, then why live there.

The UK is far worse. Huge population and increasing poverty. Do nothing governments and crumbling services and infrastructure. You won't see this level of organisation and order in the UK. Their people are averse to change and progress. Recently they stopped their so called high speed railway project because these people thought that " it was a waste of money." These people are opposing a 3rd Runway being built at London Airport because of " environmental concerns." Paris has 5 runways while the UK has 2 and is creaking. Hopefully, other countries won't follow the UK example. At least in the US, the government has built wide open roads, the UK government is constantly finding ways of closing their horse and cart routes and make life difficult for their people who do not offer any voice of objection. They simply follow orders. Turn right. Now go straight. Now go Left. Now stop. Now turn round. Now go slow. Automatons.
