When I was pregnant, my boyfriend's family offered to help me when they were around and didn't demand anything of me. I’m one of those people that got a burst of energy before going into labor. The evening before I delivered my first child, I cleaned the house and scrubbed the kitchen floor on my hands and knees. With my second I ran a bunch of errands and was just very busy. My husband’s looked and said “ are you in labor”. I said yes and I delivered our son 6 hrs later. Everyone is different. My daughter was in labor over 26 hrs. I can’t understand why these ML ‘s think it’s easy for everyone.

I had a coworker who used to work in the farm fields in texas in the 60s, she had her baby in the field, gave it to the driver of the truck they were loading to look after and went back to work. I cant imagine a woman today being ok with that.
