The amount of people who actually get pleasure from seeing others suffer is crazy. My aunt is like that right now. She has these moments where she is the sweetest, more caring person ever. Always ready to offer a hand and step in to help. Then suddenly she get these meltdowns where she's now angry at that very same person for no reason, and never wants to see them again, she even gets upset when she sees that the person is having a fun time, cuz she wants to see them have a miserable life now that she's angry at them. So the more that person is happy, the angrier she gets. This can last for a while, before suddenly, she's back to being the sweetest person you'll meet. She needs help but refuses to get it cuz, according to her, there is nothing wrong with her, it's everyone else that is sick. That's who Doris reminds me of.
