🙋‍♀️ | My name is Apple, and I moved to New York state a few years ago. I live with my grandmother. When we first came to the United States, we faced some language barriers, and because we weren't very attractive, we didn't have any dates. We were often teased at school because of our appearance.
🌤 | One day, I stumbled upon a channel and became obsessed with its funny storyline. During my summer break, I binge-watched all of their content and had a great time. I'm a big fan of that channel, and I often hit the like button and comment my thoughts and feelings within the community.

Just a little FYI, check that you ARE divorced after filing, don't just trust that the lawyers/attorneys did their jobs right. My friend found out last year that the attorney she hired to help with her divorce never properly filed the paperwork after trying to get her new marriage license. So she and her ex thought they had been divorced for 10 years, when in fact the divorce was considered denied due to inaction and they were still legally married. Thankfully this time the man she hired did his work quickly and she is now officially divorced, and can get remarried later this year.

Hannah had said that Ben said Hannah wouldn't have to pay for anything, implying he had lots of money, and that Lisa (Liz) married him for his money. Yet they were whining that after the wedding they had no money for Lisa to sue them. Doesn't sound like a man of money to me.

Is it Liz or Lisa? After all, Liz is short for Elizabeth and Lisa is just Lisa. Is she a legal assistant or a lawyer? There was a narrative in the beginning. Why not one to explain the name and job change? (Um, yes, I do understand that she apparently went to law school and passed the bar to become a lawyer. My point was that there was this lovely narrative in the first part of the story, why not add one later? It would have added more to the story, especially considering where the narrative jumped around with the main character's name. It just made it seem like the story jumped around too much, as many of these stories tend to do.)

Like we were told - Liz was a legal assistant when she was with Ben. After they separated, she went back to studying hard for her law degree, which she passed not long before the wedding. As for the name, I can only guess that her name IS really Lisa but it gets often shortened to Lis (pronounced Leece) and that the text to speech missed it??

As Karen said, she was a legal assistant when she was with Ben and became a lawyer afterwards. It had been two years since she had been separated from Ben so she was towards end of her schooling during that time.
