The part that makes me laugh the most was the fact there was a prenup lol. The MIL is worried her DIL would run off with her son's money only to have it that now he gets nothing from her in return. Oh, how the tables have turned.
More to the point, obey the landlord-tenant laws. So-called "parasites" or not, with the exceptions of drug trafficking and domestic violence, an d even then, there are rules. you cannot throw someone out at will or on a whim and certainly not in less than 30 days. If you try, the "parasite" will call the police. Police officers will ask one of these questions: "Does the "parasite" get mail there?" I "is their walking ID/driver's license tied there?" "Is the "parasite" registered to vote there?" If the answer is "yes" to any or all of those questions they will tell the person kicking the other person out in these stories they CANNOT kick the so-called "parasite" out on a whim, cannot lock out, cannot remove property. Landlord/Tenant law must be followed even if no rent is paid. First is 30 days notice to vacate. If the so-called "parasite" refuses to leave, then they must file an Unlawful Detainer suit, a court order to return possession and formally evict and at the same time, an opportunity for the evictee to have their day in court to fight back and keep possession if they can. Unless and until the judge rules one way or another, the so-called "parasite" stays. Any attempt to kick them out directly or constructively evict ie: shutting off utilities, changing locks, etc is Contempt of Court and the in-laws, parents or anyone who thinks they have the power to do that can be fined, jailed for up to a year or both. Evern if the in-laws, parents or siblings win the UD suit, judge still has to issue an eviction order which can take weeks or months to issue, not high priority, still need to be formally served by process server or law enforcement once served, usually executed in 30 days , eviction day comes, Sheriff comes to execute the order, then and only then, the so-called "parasite" must leave. Start to finish is about 90 days at best. Most people leave well before that. Been there done that once never again.
Would like to see one of these stories where the wife goes back to the husband and confronts him on what his sister is doing. Then he gets mad at Sis for lying about what he and the family are saying.
I have listened to so many stories like this. Once, just once, I would love to see one of these where the spouse stands by their significant other. Just once.
I was thinking the same thing. I really, really hate that she thinks she can trust her husband and Alison sounds like a complete liar but then it turns out she's not.
Has Alison never heard the term “You catch more flies with honey than vinegar?” What makes her think it’s okay to insult someone and then demand money and gifts? These people are ridiculous. Every word out of her mouth makes me want to slap her, pregnant or not.
As someone who works from home, juggling 4 clients from 7AM to 7PM, Mondays to Sarurdays, I find it stupid to call our jobs "not a real job" when it's literally the same stuff we are doing as office workers just done at home. Was told by my older sister the same thing, until she realized I was bringing in more money than she could ever do (and she now wants to do the same LMAO).
These conversations go way beyond what I would take them. one minute into it it would be " You know what your an idiot, Good Bye and your being blocked"
(33:41) VOICE: She didn't want me running off with all of _Tom's_ money. TEXT: She *didn' t* want me running off with all of *_Hank' s_* money. Make your mind up.
I honestly don't know why married couples move in with in-laws, they should have never moved in there, plus she should be never having these conversations with this disfuctional sister in law, and be talking to her husband
4 adults and not one has a job, unbelievable. The audacity of shaming the only one they relied on. Great ending but damn, why make Kate so naive and clueless as to what was going on around her
I wonder if the characters who are being insulted don't make things plain until after being kicked out because they're secretly - or not so secretly - hoping to escape their family.
My nephew has worked from home for the state since covid. Many businesses made the decision to let their employees work from home. This little snit needs to keep up. I also noticed that in a lot of these scenarios, it's always one woman trying to extort another woman. Has anybody else noticed this?
Why they can't grasp the fact that offices are mostly computer work, and computers can work anywhere, is beyond me! How long has the internet been running now? And how do they think the world carried on when everything shut down?
It's always funny seeing these stories call someone working "morning to night" as working a "part time job" because they think part time job = low wage.
I have told everyone I’m childfree since I was 7 years old. When DH and I pushed our wedding up by a year because we dropped the big, pink, fluffy wedding and went to the courthouse. We saved a ton and people were pissing me off anyway. The phone calls and e-mails started - as if they’d never met me before. I’m pregnant right? Do you need baby clothes blah blah. I hung up on them or ignored it. Way to get to know me as a person.
Just saying you are child-free doesn't stop you from becoming pregnant. All methods have some failure rate. Can't blame people for thinking you might be pregnant, but they sure didn't have to be bombarding you with calls. There's plenty of time to gather up things for the baby if that were really the case.
Alison: The best thing for all of us would be to go back to the way things were before. Me: No, the best thing for all of YOU would be to go back to the way things were before. Me? Not so much.
This isn’t the first story that’s concluded with the stupid ex “working from daylight to dark at a part time job.” That’s not part time; that’s overtime. Not a difficult idea.
I just realized that the Apple text channel I've been watching is actually three different channels doing the same thing with the same narrator. I can't even begin to understand why they wouldn't just have the one channel. Seems like shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to subscriber count.
I never understand women that let their husband's make exscusea for being unemployed. There's always Walmart uber burger King until they obtain "what suits them"
There's too many of these stories where family members, including the spouse, have no clue about who actually is supporting who... or who owns the house they live in. Nevermind when they make up rules to support their delusions.
32:23 - rich people don't get to be rich by throwing their money away. They can choose to be philanthropic, but that's usually because the party they're being generous to didn't try to fuck them over.
Hilarious! A prenuptial contract is truly a good thing! Only gold Diggers can fear such a thing. Proper Adults do not have to fear them at all! And yes: A woman has to stand on her own feet, so no one in a so-called "family" has any right to tell her if or what she has to work or not! And no woman ever must give up her independence! EVER! I am very satisfied to hear that this family here ended up on the streets...almost! Whoever bites the hand that feeds him should be doomed! lol!
i’m so happy i live in canada where it costs 0$ to have a baby. the hospital was new my second time and i had a really nice private suite with ensuite bathroom.
@@chiefkickabitchoftheslapah9251 yes i pay taxes. which americans still pay trillions in taxes for their army- even a fraction of that could cover universal health care.
@@SheenaReine Our military budget has nothing to do with my comment that nothing is free because someone has to pay for it. It doesn't matter who pays for it, someone has to pay. Since you could not resist taking a shot at the US, I'll bite. Yes, we spend too much on the military being used by the globalists to prop up the liberal world order. We not only derive no benefit from it, it is used to harm others to enrich the bloated ruling classes of the US, Canada, Europe, and elsewhere. Your own rulers are a part of our common problem. We spend way more on healthcare than we do on our military even if you include what we spend on parasitic NATO "allies." This is especially so if include spending on all state and local levels. It's bad enough that I have to pay more taxes for single mothers and their bastard offspring along with other irresponsible Americans, I have to pay more to cover illegal aliens as well. By the way, if we had universal healthcare, wealthy Canadians would have nowhere to go for quality medical services. The Canadian government would not have anywhere to send Canadians when they face political pressure for making them wait so long they are in danger of dying. Of course, with your universal care system, your government is now offering "euthanasia" rather than treat depression and other conditions that we routinely provide effective treatment for. I'll thank you and other self-righteous Canadians to mind your own business.
How about a story where the antagonist FAILS to kick out the breadwinner who is supporting a actual good family and the antagonist gets a reason you suck speech from multiple people instead of just called out by one person?
Alison sure was out of touch but then again her family didn't realize shit either, I hope the guy she cheated on her husband with gets karma too. I also hope something leads to reasonable & not toxic family members ending up taking custody of the baby for the baby's own good given the mom & her family she lives with are struggling with money & drowning in debt. Hope OP is able to achieve what she wants & one day if she wants to has the ability to settle down a little to have a family without issues nor being married into another terrible family
Perhaps such an entitled person who is pregnant isn't being congratulated because she's not likely to rear children who will be thoughtful, considerate, and productive members of society.
10:30 unrelated: YOOOO what is the name of that product in the back!? I want one of those If you know please respond. Reminds me of that toy us as children had you’d pull it and it would make the sound of the dial it was on….. good times
Just once I would like the harassed SIL's to ask the harassing SIL,"and where do YOU work sis"?.. it's always the broke unemployed leeches that depends on a man for money. looking down on someone earning their own.. allison is projecting.. when hank stopped looking for a job, she should've gave him 90 days to get his crap together or get rid of him... you don't need a reason to divorce a loser spouse.. the beauty about this country is nobody can force you to stay married to them if you want out..
The Ned Ending (after only about 5 minutes in): Allison gets kidnapped by garden gnomes and is forced to be a breeding machine for elephant seals. Unfortunately, the first one made her explode from the inside out, after which the elephant seal promptly consumed the parts that were once Allison. Don't you just love happy endings?
Why are these antagonists never actually lying about the spouse that is supposed to stand by the other spouse's side? That's so frustrating, I never believe them... I never WANT to believe them. Why does the antagonist believe so easily without asking their spouse? I know these people are fictional but seriously... Also Alison is sick in the head. She's going on about a fantasy, but who's the one that wants to live with her parents and brother like she's still a child. She's not fit to have a child of her own.
Just coz the sil has no ambitions in life ,doesn't mean all r like tht. Havin kids is a choice ,not a compulsion its no big feat as to who became pregnant first 🙄🙄
Damnnnnnnn that truly didn't end well for Alison and her family 😂😂 Alison next time learn to listen and mind your own damn business sucks doesn't it 😅😅
Sometimes, I wonder why people indulge people like this by defending things that require no defense or explanation. I mean, I'd be like, "Blah, blah, blah Alison. Our private business is none of yours. Go ahead and believe whatever you want; it's not going to change anything I do. Your opinion of me weighs less than sunshine."
Does anyone else here think that Kate is a doormat? Listening to the annoying sister-in-law and asking questions like 'Did Hank always feel like that?". Sheesh, grow up!!
