@@thomaspetersen4105 Robots are given for passing certain early stages in the game. It's only potential 1 though, but overall, they are free operators everyone should have.
@@Kyokka I have Lancet from a stage and THRM-X from recruitment- both are not helpful in that situation. I play since about half a year, and I don´t have any other robot and have no idea where else to get them. So, "everyone should have" may be not quite correct. Sorry, I am a little frustratet after since I have tried many hours to clear the stage. Unfortunatly, I did only manage it once in a test run and didn´t manage to do it again. I simply don´t have the necessary operators in the required level.
@@thomaspetersen4105 I played on a fresh account about a month ago and I saw some robot operators in chapter 3. If I'm mistaken, then sorry; maybe not all robots are there. However, I've been active on my main account for about 4-5 months total (the most part of this time was at launch 4+ years ago) and I have all robots already with some copies. Do you know the rules for getting a robot in recruitment? I got the Robot tag thrice within the past 1,5 months, it's like you get a chance every 2 weeks or so if you play daily and spend all of your refreshes, even if you don't use all 4 recruiting attempts every day (but use at least 2 of them every day). Also, when I returned to the game 1,5 months ago, I also couldn't pass the boss of that past event to get to EX stages, and it's OK to not be able to pass some hard stages in the game when you are newish and your account lacks operators and is underbuilt. Luckily, we never miss on an event entirely (except for maybe the rare collab events). If you cannot beat the boss this week, you'll definitely be able to do that in a year at rerun. There is so much content in the game anyway, I'm sure you still have where to get some OP from.
@@Eckogen I manged to beat it after I took a tilt break and cooked a minute based on what I thought was going wrong. Replaced my utterly doodooshid wandering medic with Shining, moved Cuora one tile right, and scraped by thanks to Mr. FancyPants doing some inexplicable targeting stuff that left enough of my ops alive and heaters lit to live long enough for Mlynar to go off cooldown and get S3 active. Probably even less stable than my usual end stages, but it worked. Thanks for the base strat, man, you're a lifesaver for us low IQ Doctors
mlynar is E2 level 40 and definitely put out enough DPS, but I think the wandering medic was causing everything to go wrong catastrophically enough that no one was left alive to stall or relight heaters
Can you explain Harold's bombardment mechanic? Sometimes I get confused because instead of using robot to lit the bonfire at the back, I instead use Horn, so the deployment was kind of messed by that.
I hate the fact that his arts bombardment was directly tied to his HP bar, because of that sometimes using too much dmg dealers would end in catastrophically. While bot using enough means he can shut down each bonfire and made us spent all the oil. It's also annoying for the bon fire to have cooldown before it can be attacked again, like hey! I need this one lit to stop a snowball!! But no, and everyone dies.
@@kiszkjmt8564 I used Lessing to kill him, since the guy's S3 had the ability to remove status. But annoyingly, too fast. I'm killing everyone. Too slow, I'm spending too much oil. I HATE. I HATE. I HATE the fact that they made the bonfire having a cooldown before it's able to be lit

There's no innate randomness in this stage. If there is, then you brought that element to the stage yourself (either by specific frame timing that isn't easily replicable or any form of RNG). That being said, the key to stability here is easy. Higher defensive stats and/or better survivability = greater chance to live = better stability. Either that or commit one shot shenanigans.
Kept getting wiped because I only cared about 2 heaters and my DPS was too good, are you joking. I'll get better but at least now I know why I keep failing the stage.
how do you get harold to not blow up your whole team? i had all my heaters on and all my operators just got completely wiped as he activated his attack.
Did you turn the Heaters back on asap? If you push him fast enough where he triggers his mechanic and for the slight second, there were offline Heaters you'll get punished.
This has got to be the single worst boss in the game ever, Hardmode Talulah was easier than this thing, Manfred as cancer as he was, was easier than this shit.
@@DaneTheInsane675 Esp after Signore dei Lupi and Witch King events, i wasnt expected RS-8's boss to have a GLOBAL NUKE and such a frustrating stage mechanic that he can use to one shot your healers from practically any range...
