Operator Replacement Suggestions (ORS): Ptilopsis: Any E2 AOE Medic. Liskarm: Any Offensive Defender. Myrtle: Any Flagbearer. E2 not required. Shining: S2 or S3 L7. Any E2 ST Medic with high sustain. Mountain: S3 M3. Bagpipe S2,S3/Blaze S2/Gavial S2,S3/Irene S3. Hoshiguma: S2 M3. X module 3. Eunectes S1 or S3 (timing)/Nian S2 (with module). Mlynar: S3 M3. Quibai S3 or Chen Holunday S3 (if left side can solo + module required if bringing AOE Medic). Version 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cAX8SnzTRyQ.html
To add onto this Hoshi can be replaced with Nian, provided your Mlynar can choke out the kill (Nian skill->Shining Skill->Nian skill lines up perfectly if your Nian has M3, this gives her about 2 minutes of being able to tank the weeb) Mountain TECHNICALLY can be replaced with a Chongyue, but it will take a couple runs to get his RNG to prevent a leak. This isn't that awful because his RNG only comes into play with the first few wolves, it's clear if you lose the run within the first 45 seconds. Ptilopsis can also be replaced with Skalter S2, albeit this is with Nian so I did not need the burst heal. A maxed Mlynar (no pots) can choke out the kill with no SP battery, but you need to tank weeb for about 2 minutes in order to make this possible, so Liskarm is reccomended IMO. I used Penance, but once again, because Mlynar had the time to kill.
I managed it with Hoshi module level 2 with Nian as my secondary defender and Purestream/Ptilopsis as my healers. After the last top lane enemy dies, the weeb has a little over half health, so Hoshi stalls until Nian can redeploy (so Hoshi is in range for Nian S3). Alternate medics and Nian skill until Mlynar kills the weeb.
Thanks for the guide, amazing as always! Had to tweak the run a bit since I didn't have Mlynar or Mountain. Borrowed a support Mylnar and used my Blaze lvl60 S2M3 to lane hold in place of Mountain. Almost made it through with Hoshi's module being lvl 2, but was able to secure the run by upgrading it to lvl3. Now to go back to studying :')
@@switchgear100 what do you mean? I don't have any recording to look back on, but I don't think I did anything special to put her down. it was a really close call, but I barely got Blaze down in time to block the first dog Edit: Just tried it again, there's a decent amount of time to put down Blaze. Was able to get Blaze down as the 2nd operator just when the dog reaches the last tile in front of the blue box.
I used this guide as a reference but I made a bunch of changes, mainly some operators (Saria instead of Mountain, Nian instead of Hoshiguma, and Kal'tsit instead of Liskarm) 1. I chose the 30%+ enemy ATK contract instead of the +200 enemy DEF one so the enemies are more squishy. 2. Shining and Ptilopsis have their modules enabled (Ptilo's module is at level 1 and Shining has her second module at level 3). 3. Saria w/ S1M3 helps heal the defender next to her. Unlike Mountain, she doesn't get retreated so she can continue healing. 4. Nian has S3M3 and her module at level 3. I activated her skill at 2:33 when the two red guys are approaching her, and at 3:52 when I activate the medics' skills. 5. Kal'tsit is placed behind Ptilopsis. Her Monst3r has 3 block so it's a good defender replacement, and its redeployment time is quick enough for it to be used as a replacement for Mountain against the Red Avenger.
I was a bit dumb and brought Shining s2(?) the auto one, but it worked thanks to her, Hoshi, and Ptilo all being maxed lol. Not sure what level it would fail at, but at least it doesn’t there.
FYI Blaze instead of Mountain can also work but you need to place units in a slightly different order (I had to place Hoshi before Shining) because of tighter DP requirements
I also used Blaze instead of Mountain, but what I did during the boss battle: After I retreated her I waited with attacking the boss, deployed her two tiles behind him and let her skill charge Made the actual fight a lot easier and quicker (not counting the preparation time ofc)
@@switchgear100 place Myrtle first and pop her skill, you should have around 26DP before the first dog enters the blue box with -50% DP Reduction tag if your Myrtle is M3, which is more than enough to place Blaze down
This strat worked great! I generally followed the positioning from this guide, here are my replacements: Młynar -> thorns s3m3 Mountain -> gavialter s3l7 Liskarm -> kal'tsit s3m3 (mon3tr also helped kill the red guy by the end) I'm still devastated over not getting młynar (i used up like a hundred pulls for him!) Anyway, thank you for the guide, i was able to do risk 18 before week 1 ends!
Thanks for the guide! I made this work without Shining and Hoshi with only ModX2 by using the 5 deployment slots instead of 7 squad size, then subbing Mountain and Liskarm with two medics once only Reid was left (Medics Ptilo E260, Warf E250, Sussurro E240, all with no masteries), and then did not redeploy Mountain. Hoshi E270 S2M3 Mod2 worked fine with just Ptilo to heal until Reid hit 50%.
I don't have Hoshi, but after refreshing for like 5 min straight, I borrowed one that only has Module X Level 2 and no Masteries on the S2 but was level 90. I have Mlynar that's 90 with S3M3. My Ptilopsis was level 50 and my Shining was 45, neither have any Masteries and they were able to keep Hoshi up. I didn't have Liskarn so I used Mudrock instead to take healing pressure off my Ptilopsis and she can focus on just healing Herself, Mlynar, Mountain and Hoshi. I was able to complete it, but if you borrow a Hoshi with no/low S2 Masteries, be aware that you'll be a missing a good chunk of reflect damage and the boss is gonna take 3 of Mlynar's skills to take him to Phase 2 (2 skills uses will leave the boss at like 15-20% depending on your Mlynar's level/skill level), which means you're gonna be in a scary situation where the boss is gonna be at like 15%-20% HP and enraged while you wait for the third Mlynar skill to charge. However, cycling the Ptilopsis then Shining skill should just barely buy you enough time. My low level healers were able to keep Hoshi up, and the third Mlynar skill should last long enough to both take him into phase 2 and kill him right out. Good luck.
Thank you for the strategy This strat also works with s3 lvl 7 on both Shining and Ptilo With lvl 1 x-module for Hoshi, as long as her s2 is m3 to enhance her defense further
you are strong when you look the guide after you already completed risk 18 contingency. just to remember where you were started) and to compare your strategy) used Kal'tsit, Spalter, Gladia, Pozemka, Myrtle, Talter, Chalter. Almost same contracts.
Thanks Ecko! Had to tweak it a bit with ChenAlter instead of Mlynar, and GavAlter subbing in for Liskarm and covering the middle by herself, but got through it after a few tries.
@@switchgear100 Initially, just left of the blue base square. Then after the second last wave, I retreated and redeployed her left of Hoshi to focus the boss without the debuff of the red thing. Let me know if you want more detail of deployment order or when I used skills.
used this strat but exchanged the risk for deployment(max 5 on field) since i cant do it with 7 ops only, had to use the immortal nun and demon to stall red and it worked cheers Doktahs we have finished the CC series
@@Eckogen no worries, I just went ahead and got her X module to level 3 as well lol also I'm most likely doing the other easy guide instead of this one
Thanks for the guide, had to use a support Mlynar as i don't think my Mountain could handle left side if i bought Ch'alter, but thats R18 for the last CC.
@Eckogen thx you. I ended up with almost the same setup, with the key difference being my defender placement a little further from the blue box and contract list changing to 5 deployment limit. Suzuran is the most pivotal unit for stalling the boss in the second phase just long enough to mlynar's skill to be ready.
Yeah, works seamlessy and it isn't even that demanding. My Hoshi is just lvl60 S2M1, module Y r2, and she was kept up by a masteryless Ptilo & Shining S2 (With a little help from Kal'tsit). Used Monst3r in place of Liskarm and Blaze in place of Mountain. Repositioned Monst3r in the last part to make the final push shorter, and maybe the rng of Hoshi talent was on my side, but she didn't die until second phase (when Ptilo skill ran out, and Kal was distracted), and he barely made two steps before Mlynar did him in. Blaze hadn't even spent her talent, so it was safe.
Yeah I figured I should have switched so suss, Didn't know mulberry healed enough. Though I did eventually make it. took Nian instead of Gun Lizard and then redeployed her closer to hoshi before the enrage. Nians s3 worked to let warfarin keep hoshi alive long enough.@@Eckogen
Used the same strat, but I don't have Hoshi or Ptilopsis E2 yet so I had to make adjustments. I borrowed a max module Ptilopsis and used a max Cuora instead of Hoshi. It was super close but it still works
Using Nian S3 instead of Liskarm, repositioning her to where Mountain was during the mobs, after mobs are dead, makes the boss' damage a lot less scary
Was super worried that I won't be able to make it since my Shining had no module and her skill is only SL7 and Hoshi only have Module 2 and Skill is only M1 but i was able to beat it. Not sure if there are Dodge RNG involved but since i was able to beat it on my first try i am guessing the requirement might not be that high ? Anyway thanks for the epic guide. Was crying trying to make some specialist risk 18 worked but Avenger walked into the blue box with a few hp left everytime.
@@Eckogen thanks. i was planning the exact reverse. was able to do it with Quibai and blaze instead. The dp needed to get blaze on the field is like sliver thin margins
