【Arknights】OD-8 FAST AND SAFE AUTO CLEAR 

This just popped up into my recommended. I literally gave up trying to grind 0D-8 and was just sticking to 0D-7. I managed to clear 8 through various different methods but the timing for my redo would always fail because the bomb just wouldn't go off or an operator skill wouldn't go off when I needed it to. My team was different but thanks to your placement I can now auto it so smoothly. I don't have Blaze and I haven't bumped up my Jaye so I had to do some minor shuffling around but everything else was pretty much the same. Thank you so much you mega brained god.

Finally a strat suitable for me...damn you doctors that have phantom :/

Instead of Jaye, I used Utage, and Blue Poison instead of Platinum. Had to replace Siege at first with Texas, then Specter. I also deployed Eyjafjalla, Myrtle and Silence. Placement of the operators are more or less the same. I find your tactics here better than KyostinV. Thanks for sharing.

thanks for the strat, it's very useful. Since I don't have Silverash, I just used Spectre and bagpipe at the top left :)

Just adding this up to make this guide more viable: >If you don't have Jaye, you could replace it with Hellagur, Ch'en, or better, Thorns, or any arts Guard. >Platinum can be replaced with any good DPS sniper with the same range preferred.

Swapped Jaye for Skadi, Siege for Texas, and added Bagpipe (in place of Jaye at the end), Waai Fu for aggro so Silverash didn't die using his S3, Pinecone (below the vanguard facing up) for more damage on the boss since my Texas is a bit weaker, and Myrtle just for extra DP. I'm just so glad I can finally leave the stage on auto lmao, thank you so much for the strat :)

Work perfectly after a bit of adjustment. Epic.

After multiple attempts, I finally 3 starred this godawful stage :D. Did some tweaks to better fit my operators: - My Siege is P0, so to help her deal faster damage I partnered her with Scavenger. - Decided to use Mountain instead of Spot, though this kinda affect my autos since the worms can leak but the first time worked for some reason - I haven't E2'd may Jaye so I sent Lapp instead. She's a bit fragile so I have Nearl to back her up. - I have this constant issue of my bombs not lasting the final blast so I decided to blow them up when they reach a third of their HP and quickly place the third bomb. I placed Rosmontis directly in front of Ptilopsis to guard for leaks at the left side. Meanwhile, Scavenger backs up Mountain at the right section. - The third bomb didn't kill the boss as I hope so I quickly placed Surtr. Anyways, thank you for this guide. This helped me greatly :) Edit: I forgot to add this: Instead of Platinum, I used Blue Poison for her corrosion. It helps soften the enemy for Mountain.

It's a surprising amount of fun to adapt these strats and just adjust for unknowns. My Blaze and my Jaye aren't high enough level, so the timing for bomb placement had to be off, since blaze couldn't quite down stage 2 before an extra det from the boss went off, and some of the spiders wouldn't die. I used Warfarin to account for the lacking damage, but that provided a different problem because I used Saga S2 instead of Siege (for trust farming, I'm greedy) and the random SP gain from Warfarin's talent messed with the manual skill activations I made on the 1st go around. So then I had to work around that with different timings :D I don't like to use my brain much but that was honestly fun. Thank you for the guide

Thank you while I did not follow the strategy as you did (due to lack of certain ops and lack of investment) But the placement helped, I just needed enough dps for it to avoid breaking the bombs, so thank you

took me thirty attempts but this strat did it; my only complaint is i could never got both bomb to survive until the 3rd form sheild went down so i had to switch spot with Hoshi and use her beyblade to deal with all the little tumor things until we killed the boss...

Thanks boss, I prefer this guide compared to the others as I still have space to trust farm my team rainbow. I can easily 3 star this stage without support unit but hoping for a 3 star auto deploy is asking for too much for some reason.

I replace blaze with other ops and need to bring some extra ops to clear the tumor worms, took alot of time to manage the auto deploy it failed 4 times but i managed to make it work with no leak

I would suggest AOE operators or thorns (DPS) if you don't have Blaze but might need to place a defender below them. More snipers helps too. I hope all of you are enjoying Originium Dust :) Edit: Double bomb is important to kill the boss fast. Make sure to time it right with your respective squad damage. Thanks to this strat, now I have smooth auto trust farm on this stage and I just need to change the team a bit: SA with Bagpipe S3 (just want it) Jaye with Phantom (just want it) Spot with Mountain (trust farm) Siege with Saga (trust farm) Blaze with Thorns (dont have Blaze) Kinda tricky because I use 1 bomb to help Phantom killing right spawner (still S2M2) and take some extra time killing the boss, but hey finally safe and smooth trust farm... Now I can sleep and stop wasting my sanity trying various tactics.

One of the videos here clearing OD-8 include 3 Operators (SA, Phantom, and Thorns). I replace thorns with Exia and Saria. 3 out of 5-10 runs it failed, but I take the repeat and 4 ops clear with trust

this gave me hope, but my blaze is only E1 and doesn't have the extra block or damage, so unless i can rush her up before the event ends (which requires a lot of grindstones) i probably won't be able to do it :(

Jaye and lappland is great for not allowing the enemies to split

I tried this strategy, but at around 20 kills a whole spider + spawns leaked past Gummy whom I used in place of Spot, after boss debuffed operator's attack speed. Just retried the stage - exact same thing happened...... I've probably retried this stage over like a hundred times trying to get a stable clear trying various strategies...

Hmmm. I use the exact same timings but either one or both of my boxes get destroyed by the last phase.

I shall try this. So far, the game plays I have don't work with auto :/ I always end up playing it manually ugh

Good strat, i don't know what i was doing wrong but my auto kept leaking so i added BP and W to make a failproof auto I also used utage and bagpipe instead of SA cus i don't have him (and my jaye isn't raised)

Who could I replace Blaze with? I've been thinking Specter but I haven't tried yet. Edit: Yeah it doesn't work. I didn't realize that Blaze was dealing damage to the boss as well.

I used Siege in the space left and down one. (The choke point) Then Ifrit firing up through her. No one leaks. (Both skill 2’s) Anyone bot lane with aoe healer healing those three. Right choke point opposite siege, I put 2 block Vanguard, thorns right and down one in choke point, and Saria to his right. Later I place Eyja to Siege’s right, facing straight up, with a single target healer to her right healing her. (Silence works best. For ranged skill heal later) Use Surtr to take out top right spawn and Silver Ash to take out middle ones, while hitting boss at the same time. (Silences heal to keep him topped up) Relatively easy to finish boss off without even using the bombs. Above setup can go infinitely and farm for days, so no worries about having to fast kill before dying. Enjoy

this mission can be really frustrating for a new player like me - currently stuck on this and story 5-7 all the strategys I see here on youtube seem to at least really need 1-2 certain operator/skills to work as far as my understanding of the game so far reaches and the few chars I tried to raise in accord these days on the short time do great damage so far but end up stunned/whatever later on and let to many spawns just pass (...) don't really care to much for the rewards (maybe except the last 1-2 furniture parts) - it is just annoying to not beeing able to finish the story myself ;/ mfg Olli

keept misstiming the bombs. Lucky thing I had W and her bomb... but the frames of invisibility and such - don t think I had ever won this level without guides. Even with guides, I fail to time right... Edit: W can be replaced by Amiya S3 this seems even smother, she does more dmg so the bombs don t get destroyed and when you then blow em at the right moment it works pretty nicely. Just keep an operator to drop on the left in case a mini mutant runs off. Recommend Utage for she has pretty good arguements

When the boss entered the last stage, he blew up one of the bombs with first explosion, so I had only 1 bomb left, failing the run... this strategy doesn't work for me...

My original strategy was so close to this, but being overwhelmed by everything on screen, trying to make sure the random leaks weren’t happening, and (not) knowing the timing of the bombs made it a nightmare. Slight adjustments for my team and I’m ready to repeatedly punish this stage into oblivion. Not even for grindstones. Just spite. Something weird I have noticed. It makes me paranoid. When I do auto-deploy, and walk away or just look away to conserve my sanity, the mission will fail. Not offer anything for a botched auto-deploy, just failed. When I sit and stare at it, reliving the stress and anxiety, auto-deploy works just fine. They did it. They finally made a map that drains your actual sanity.

Why on earth this stage has such a low drop rate ??
