She sounds much clearer than the previous demos I've seen! A lot of the older vociebanks for CeVIO sounded really similar due to that certain quality they had, the engine noise or whatever you would call it. I feel like she retains her identity well despite the different engine!
I do wonder what, if anything, will happen to Mayu with this mass exodus. EXIT TUNES worked mostly with the Internet Co. and Crypton gang in their promo material. Crypton will never let Mayu have an NT (and tbh I don't think I'd want her to) and I don't know where Internet Co. is taking Gumi, Gakupo, and the rest. Mayu hasn't been updated since v3, but EXIT TUNES still markets her music. Anyway, great cover!
It makes me sad too! Mayu has always been my favorite vocaloid and I got so excited when I saw her album art in 2015 for Mayu Loves First because I thought it was a v4 update. To be honest I don’t know what’s going to happen to mayu. But a long time ago it was stated that exit tunes was working on another voice bank tho? It was supposed to be an English, Chinese, and Japanese voice bank. I wonder what happened with that too
I think at this point after v6 discontinues v3, an update will mean that Mayumi morinaga has to record an AI model on any engine for her and I don't think she'll be ok with it. I think this will be the same fate with lily gackpoid and Megpoid since all of their voicers are celebrities
@@huhuhuhurricanestreamwow7937 Well, Tsurumaki Maki got a whole new voice provider, so it's possible they reuse characters but with a new singer for ones like MAYU and Lily. Gakupo and Gumi are different though since a lot of their appeal WAS their celebrity voices. We didn't even find out about MAYU until way later and she doesn't even sound like Morinaga. But yeah, I still doubt it myself for that reason too.
I'm in love with how voice synthesizers are starting using AI technologies. CeVIO AI, Synthesizer V AI and NEUTRINO sound great I hope that's what we will call a new era then
@@15_heidune72 DeepVocal has its moments, but otherwise you are correct. It is mostly in the user more than in the software itself, too. I'm exaggerating a little.
