They'll probably never do that, powercreep is inevitable in a gacha game as the company needs to earn. To be extremely fair, the OG sinners are still viable, if you don't care about meta or have no better sinners they can often cover roles you'd otherwise be missing. They still function fine if you're willing to use them, and still have their own niches for some of them.
