Her wording isn't 100% clear one way or the other, but if she'd done it before the MV release, it would have to have been while she was still at the company and streaming regularly.

Fr. I'm not exactly a dragoon myself either, but I'm really annoyed at the way Niji handled this. You know it's bad when the talent herself asked fans not to let things go to waste and upload it illegally if they want to.

Selen is Niji's most subbed EN female talent, might be their #1 female talent overall and yet it seems like management is always trying to screw her. @@Dud3itsj3ff management, Niji, had been messing with Selen for a while now. Stuff Selen works on gets cancelled because of management. One that I remember is that tournament that Selen planned but was later cancelled because of Nijisanji. Now, Selen released this cover after working on it for a long time and spending a lot of money in it. But after it was uploaded in her channel, Nijisanji decided to make the original video private. Selen then went to Twitter to apologize and even told the fans to upload it illegally. She really just don't want all that hardwork, money, and effort to become nothing. Right now, the video on her channel is still privated so it seems Nijisanji really plans to keep it that way.

The song feels like both a message of hope for her fans, while also being the biggest middle finger to Niji. It gives her fans the message that if (when) she leaves, we will be seeing her return on her own terms, and is her saying that nothing Niji can do will prevent her from succeeding. I wouldn't be surprised if she was hoping it would fast-track her to getting fired so she could avoid having to wait out her contract while also potentially giving her ammo for a wrongful termination lawsuit.

@@draaxus2969 For Selen in particular, the Nijisanji 3D live was cancelled (which she was slated to be in) as well as her fall guys tournament which she organized, as well as not being allowed to organize any international tournaments. She can join them, but she can't organize it for some damn reason. Those two and this song are something Selen worked hard for but was cancelled. She's had it rough this year with Niji management. edit: Apparently she still can organize international events according to a guy below me? My mistake if so, but the fact that they told her she wasn't allowed in the first place (while cancelling the tournament) before rescinding that statement is still plenty fucked up.

I'm glad she's doing well enough that the doctors were able to send her home, and I hope she makes a full recovery, and I hope we can hear her voice again at some point in the near future. But at the same time, it is increasingly obvious that she's been suspended since before her accident, and it's also increasingly unlikely that the next time we hear her voice will be as the purple dragon.

The timing for the upload is very important, and it's clear she's already prepared everything (even got the permission from the song's creator herself, from what I heard), only to have to wait for permission for the usage of the company's own IP... and then the video got privated for that reason as well, which is so weird to me. It must've been so frustrating (even more if there's been many prior problems with management) and I 100% understand why she would tweet what she tweeted. I feel she's very creative and ambitious, and that company's management is not fit for that and only slows her down. I now wish her the best as Dokibird.

They used that as an excuse to punish her, other livers have mentioned graduated livers’ names or at least have mentioned their fan names in the past, so it’s not like graduated livers are taboo in the company.

With the way things are now, I may be thinking to much into it but I feel like this image alone then showing Nina and Mysta afterwards probably is the reason why it got taken down in the first place. This came out before pomu's announcement too and Nijisanji probably thought us as the fans wouldve thought to much into it. And the livers did mention they knew for a couple of months to since TTT debuted!!
