Its been over 10 years since I stopped playing DDR at my local arcade. Watching this playthrough I'm picturing in my head where I would be placing my feet during this song. I remember spending a lot of time there. Eventually clearing Maxx 300 many times to Maxx Unlimited only twice and wining a few local tournaments before calling it quits for good. Even my younger brother reached his goal by clearing Pandora Survivor before moving on to other things.
Theres a reason why they made this a classic 9 footer (which is typically where 13 and 14s are) and how this is rated an X scale 12 and never bumped up to 13 is beyond me.
I always thought it was too easy to be a 9 even in the early 00s and too hard to be an 8. I actually liked the X scale because it made room for songs like this (easy 8s = 11, hard 8/easy9s = 12, solid 9s = 13). Anyway, it is exhausting enough to be a 13, but it's just streams. Easy to pass and PA. It was one of the first catas I single digit greated back before marvelous timing was added.
When the boys and I frequented the last real arcade before it turned into a shoddy Dave and Buster's, when the DDR cabinet was present and it had this song, it got played first.
Congratulations! It's super exhausting. I'm trying to get back into DDR after nearly 2 decades and won't be able to do songs like this for a few more months at least.
the best song for this is something super gimmicky like monkey business or orca. normal people can’t conceive that there are people nerdy enough to actually memorize the bpm changes in ddr songs so they just think you’re a god
@@familyguyfreemoviedownload8314 I play doubles so it always attracts crowds regardless, but the one song that makes people lose their minds whenever I play it is Pluto the First on 15.
those are called jackhammers. You can either step them with one foot (as originally intended), or you can alternate both feet to preserve energy. Doing it with a single foot can eat away at your stamina but you will feel that nice burn in your quads. Doing it with both feet can be easier but it may throw off your foot placement if you're not careful and therefore mess up your combo.
They knew 14 was too high of a rating that they downgraded too much to a 12. This is hands down a 13 with all the crossovers and jacks and stamina draining
