The ending is a visual gimmick, it maintains the same speed and rhythm as the entire section before it. It's just a run with a visual gimmick to trick you up lol
Since the freezes are so short/fast, just pretend that they aren't freezes and just more 8th notes instead. Even knowing this, it still throws me off and I keep failing at the end because I get confused lol.
I know how you feel. Which is why I've decided to just memorize the ending and forget trying to read it. Bad habit, I know, but trying to sight-read it is just a big pain in the butt
I love that 1:26 is the same pattern as 1:49, but with the freeze arrows... I always remind myself to follow the same pattern despite the visual trickery
I think it's just fine as a high 16. The ending looks tough because of the freeze arrows, but it's basically the same trick that charts like Paranoia Respect, the ending of Chinese Snowy Dance, and most of the jun boss songs use where freeze arrows are thrown in to obscure some of the note patterns. It's trying to trick your mind, but once you recognize what those freeze arrows are in the ending, it's pretty straightforward. The up and down arrow freeze arrow parts are very similar to the ending of Triple Journey ESP too, only at a much slower BPM. I feel like if this chart went crazier with the gimmicks (i.e. more stops and slowdowns) and had more technical and harder-to-read patterns in the earlier parts, it could warrant the 17 rating.

The freeze arrows are there to trick you. You're supposed to ignore them and pretend they're just regular arrows. Now, execution-wise, that's an entirely different story and my brain shuts off anyway lmao
