The last pure, brand new DDR original Extra Exclusive song was THE ANCIENT KING IS BACK. Although having older songs, and licensed in Eon Break’s case, is nice and all, I’m worried that Konami might stop making brand new originals for EE.
Played it today, a fortunate oneshot considering it was an Extra Exclusive. It’s… quite tiring. 699 notes put this as the 2nd highest notecount 15, and I had a hard time keeping it together towards the end.
Pretty unfortunate this song got THE ANCIENT KING IS BACK treatment with its Expert chart and lack of a Challenge chart. It also has abhorrent sync like ANCIENT KING.
16s typically don't have the red and blue note streams like you see here. That's the main difference between a 15 and 16. 15s like this one tend to go back and forth between being a 15 and being a 11-12 whereas 16s tend to keep those yellow note streams around for more parts of the song.
