0:49 pisses me off to an unreasonable level. 8 sounds in the music as dotted 8th notes (intervals of 3 16ths. Can be seen multiple times across the chart) THEY CHART IT AS 6TH NOTES AND HAVE 9 NOTES IN THE SAME LENGTH AS 8 SOUNDS IN THE MUSIC.
Cool uses of the BPM icons!! This is my favorite song of the event, and not just because it has gimmicks straight out of Cytokinesis. Heh These synths are really impressive.
@@DDRMudkipzi honestly don’t really think of gsu as part of the same lineage because it isn’t as dominated by gradual speedups. cytokinesis and orochi strike both have more than one and they’re much more dramatic and difficult than the gsu speedup. or maybe gsu difficult could be the first stage, and cytokinesis the second? idk
@@familyguyfreemoviedownload8314 I thought of GSU b/c it too peaks at 200 BPM like Orochi Strike does and has a gradual speedup, but yeah, maybe GSU Difficult might be the basic stage. But I still like to compare GSU w/ Orochi Strike b/c of the first two similarities + both being 16s. Many seem to find GSU pretty hard already b/c of its BPM gimmicks and speed, but when I played Orochi Strike, I got the impression that it's a much harder Good Sound United.
@@DDRMudkipzit kind of takes the hardest parts of cytokinesis and gsu and combines them into a horrifying chimera of a 16. you have the bizarre gradual speedups of cytokinesis, but also the speed, density, and mind-bending rhythms of gsu
Beautiful song and chart, I really do enjoy the mixed Phantom Beasts theme and the duo artist. It really makes for a unique soundscape Surprised no one has mentioned this but after having played the song a few times, does anyone feel odded out by the 12th note pattern at 0:49 (combo 161-169)? I think the arrows are supposed to be dotted sixteenths (aka the spaced out red-yellow-blue-yellow pattern). Slowed the video down and im counting 8 "beats" in the sound as opposed to the 9 arrows, or is that just me? (It's best to compare when slowed to 0.5x)
