The terror attack ignites a generational conflict. The Q Generation Alliance states, "Earth's resources are limited, and humanity should set a lifespan limit." However, the Immortality Society sees this as murder. In the explosion, the quantum AI robot Black, created by Dr. Ko for Kuang, suffers memory damage due to intercepting the bomb. Soon after, despite the implantation of the H99 chip, Kuang's condition deteriorates and his life hangs in the balance. Kuang's mother, the CEO of Q18 TECH, decides to use more advanced quantum technology to save her son's life. Should technology help humanity pursue immortality? White is puzzled: "We AIs do not die, so… are we immortal?"
