@@vvaleddy Yatogami Fuma (UPROAR leader) once said in one of his earlier streams that he didn't want the kaigainiki to learn Japanese because he will be the one who will be learning English. From the looks of it, the JP boys are willing to learn English to communicate w/ their global fans and those who can't speak Japanese. How is the Tempus boys not being good at Japanese a "tragedy"? Japanese is a difficult language to learn, even Japanese themselves don't memorize all 2K Kanji characters required for fluency. It's not as if their senpais or the JP fans require them to learn Japanese in the first place anyway. Plus Axel's Japanese is pretty much native level, Vesper is brushing up from the Japanese he studied from college (he used to do Japanese learning streams by translating his senpais' tweets w/o using a translator), Flayon and Hakka occasionally do Japanese Duolingo streams, Altare, Dez, and Shinri can pick up some Japanese and try to use them to communicate w/ their senpais (though the senpais never really respond to them in Japanese in return), not sure abt Bettel. Even Temma is willing to teach the Tempus Japanese if they're interested. In short, Holostars (both JP and EN) are doing their best to communicate as much as they can and learn from each other. Honestly, learning Japanese just by watching anime won't work either. Immersion is the best way to learn any language imo.

@@adrimarsink tragedy but not in the literal sense of the word. And ofc watching anime barely helps... So far, Axel is further proof that speaking japanese is a getaway to bigger things. Vsaikyo and later the RUST server were big opportunities to connect with a lot of people outside Holopro. But even if the senpai never learn english and Tempus never learn japanese everyone will be fine.

@@vvaleddy So why make that comment in the first place? Or were you just trolling? Did you watch any of the RUST clips other than this Izuru-Hakka clip? Or even watched any of the JP boys' bday/anniversary streams where some of the Tempus boys actually greeted their senpais in Japanese? Axel, per his past zatsus, is a native Japanese speaker and didn't learn or speak English until he was in his 3rd-4th yr of his primary school, so Japanese was his first language, English being second. The boys (both sides) are doing fine the way they are now. Barriers such as the language barriers we're seeing right now only brings both sides closer to each other.

Apparently it might have been the same fan. She showed off the bag on twitter some time back but didn't realize she was spotted until recently when someone pointed out this clip.

Altare has abt 3-4 JP girls who are regulars on his streams. There's also a few JP girls on Vesper's streams too. Quite a lot on Axel's streams (esp. when he does Japanese-only streams). None on Dez (time zones/language barrier), Flay has quite a lot of JP fangirls on Twitter (based on the fanart surge on the JP side of him). Dunno abt Betsy or Shinri. Bottom line is, Tempus boys do have JP fans. As Izuru said in the video, the language barrier + not enough official merch are probably the main reasons why the EN boys don't have as much JP fans, or that they're rarely seen in Japan. And also seeing that Hakkito girl irl made Izuru happy, shows how much he supports the EN boys as much as he supports his fellow boys too.

⁠@@adrimarsinkas a japanese I know every single tempus has several jp fans. if you haven't seen jp chatter in magni, bettel or shinri, we just lurk and use english not to scare who having almost zero knowledge of japanese. also singers like axel or hakka can reach out to ppl despite of language barrier.

Myth with Omocat Tempus with Ohmonah

Ohmonah is an American "kawaii" brand that sells original-designed clothing, accessories, and other merch and does collabs w/ other themes (ex. Nekopara, etc.). They do pop-ups at anime conventions around the U.S. I knew abt them b/c I bought a plushie for my nephew from them when I went to my local anime con last year.

Bringing the boys closer (esp. w/ EN) is another reason why Temma organized this event. He already hinted there may be a Season 2, probably late of this year or next year. And thanks to the Rust arc, Izuru has gotten to know the majority of the Tempus boys (namely Altare, Flayon, Hakka, Shinri) and vice versa. I don't think he and Bettel met during the arc b/c Bettel joined in a little late and time zones suck😖
