These breakdowns are the best, seriously. They're simple to understand and they're not full of fluff words to make it sound pretty, they're truly the perfect balance. Goenitz looks sick and i can't wait to play with him!
@@renhardhalim what are you talking about of course Orochi ,Igniz can wait with his father Nests ! I m one of the rare people who know almost everything about the KOF lore !
@@trcsonic of course he s my friend ! He s so cool and te most powerful of them all ! I have a KOF97 called KOF97 The Final Battle and damn Orochi there is so cool and so hard to beat ! For ex his soul destructor is just a special move and his speed is so high when he dash he can get the other corner almost instantly! Damn ! I love it he forces me to go to the offensive all the time against him no time to defend lol, by the way that game has cool stuff as well like new moves etc... try it ! As a 26 years of experience player I guaranty you lot of fun ! The Cpu is great hard it forces you max out all your skills and even beyond !
Really? I felt like I left with he's a mix up monster so have fun. They didn't need that breakdown unless I missed something that made him different than O.Shermie and Delores archetypes in regards to their projectile locations
@@publiqgc935 his down back kick can now be followed by a high kick for ex so it s like a counter escape attack move ! I m experienced enough so trust me hen I say something if you wanna know well 26 years maybe more of fighting games of all kinds ! You know the key to becoming a better player in fighting games or in a specific fighting game is to play different fighting games : the variety of mechanics 🧰 of every game helps you increase your skills ; defense, attack , reaction, reflex are sharpened etc... for ex I play SXT on my pc and the hardest Cpu is really as the name suggests it when you select that difficulty specially some characters for ex Law, Paul, Cole,Megaman, Cammy, Akuma, Ryu, Kazuya, Jin, Judi,Poison ... but in general Cpu is a pain lol ! Try it I know the game is a bit old but still play it cause it s fun
This is THE BEST starter guide coming from fighting games devs i've ever seen. It explains usage of normals and specials. Has combos. And even some setups and mixups. 👌
I am both really happy and really sad that they are balanced to be playable. On one hand we get to play these characters without any guilt and are free to play them in competitive matches but on the other hand they lose their charm of being the stupid powerful bosses they once were
@@WikiHL Those are bosses that were balanced to be on the same level as the rest of the cast. All the banned bosses is because they are broken, they don't have a balanced version available. The perfect example is Omega Rugal in XV, the boss mode version of the character is clearly stupid compared to the one playable. And I agree with you. KOF always had some interesting bosses and it is nice that SNK is making an effort to make them playable.
I think they are going by each boss in order. If so, and if they are, then Orochi might be next since Rugal is the boss in KoF'94, Omega Rugal in KoF'95 and Goenitz in KoF'96. Other than that, I hope they bring Krizalid to this game.
Estoy Feliz. Aún recuerdo lo impresionado que me dejó verlo en KoF96 y el desastre que dejaba en el escenario. Han pasado 27 años desde ése momento y parece que fuera ayer. 😢
It's great to see another iconic SNK villain return after all these years. I really like the way the "overpowered monster bosses" of yesteryear are being released for free and with an ultra-cheap form to boot. It's a great way to remind us old players how much we hated these guys back then and introduce them to new players who have yet to suffer their cheese.
I'd love to have a toned down version of him but he'd have to be toned down quite a bit because his normals are OP. And his wind projectile is to overpower. I've always liked him as a character. It would be cool to have a version of him that's fair to use.
O. Shermie isn't a good reference as zoner char, her normal version has many more tools to use, that situation never changed, not in the past and not even now, too bad for this character...
@@catisreckless4647 In the arcades he used to be available (I don´t know if it was something the arcade owner could manually adjust) and what made him OP were the instant tornadoes he made. Here the tornados have a decent start up, so it looks balanced. And yes, even back then he was considered cool. Because HE IS cool and refined.
Goenitz, in Version EX, is incredibly powerful. It is a character with several possibilities of Combos and difficult to overcome in the hands of skilled players. I'm still getting used to playing with him.
I would love to see some new characters from some of the older games making into S2. There are a lot of characters from Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury who havent been in a KOF game yet.
Thank you for bringing back these characters. Now, we only need to get the whole NESTS bosses back(Clone Zero included) and the game is complete. If not the entirety of NESTS then definitely Krizalid.
You know what would be cooler than Goenitz in this game? The best NESTs boss in that saga: Krizalid! Just think about it: K' and Whip having that awkward "sibling" reunion with this guy. Interacting with Kula, Ángel and Krohnen/K9999 since his death. His reaction to technology being operated these days compared to 1999! The dude could use some sunlight lol. Or maybe the new kids (mostly Isla) calling him a boomer.
Fair to say everyone is grateful to see Goenitz back on top of being in a free DLC🎉🎉🎉 The hype is real However can you please make him good Not broken, of course, but at least top tier good Cause he's the 2nd KOF boss after all That gotta mean something, right? The way Rugal was treated was disrespectful to his legacy as one of the monarchs, if not the OG of the boss syndrome But thanks anyways Cause Goenitz is back
"Did you make Goenitz a cheaper boss in XV?" SNK: "No, we gave him more tools for close-range combat and combos... now YOU can make the nightmare happen to others. Let them know FEAR."
@@fissilewhistle God, imagine having to look at that shitty JP design and fake-smiling going, "Oh man Capcom, thanks for this Danny Devito-with-hair masterpiece design. I'm so glad we gave up Bison, and Vega, and Balrog, and Gill for a guy that wears loafers with no socks and carries an old man cane." Worst launch roster I've ever seen in my life. Yamazaki's coat has more personality than all the newcomers in SF6.
