This naturally leads Reid to ask if she's insinuating the objective fact that they're both Plat 3 is false.
@@AdeledClips i think there's still some ambiguity with it the Japanese sounded to me like she was putting Reid's speech in quotes and saying that's not what she was responding to rather than outright saying that she's disagreeing with it
@@Kensuke0987 I mean, sure, not agreeing with something doesn't automatically mean you disagree. However, I think there's a huge difference between "Hey, I just want to make sure you know that I wasn't agreeing with what you said, I was agreeing with what she said" vs "I wasn't talking to you". Japanese-wise, Sumire was far closer to the former in my opinion.
@@AdeledClips Well, the implication of not agreeing is disagreeing, so it would seem like that. But she also didn't directly answer the question if they were not buddies. You could take it like, "That's not what I meant" and then tries to clear it up.
