I only know Aza from his Apex collab with Kanae, but he’s really funny and I was surprised by how good both his English and French pronounciation is! To be fair to Aza, the English voice tests are arranged to be almost incomprehensible to most ears because that was what you will most likely hear in your day-to-day lives.

The problem is I grew up in an English speaking country (in one the most diverse cities in the world no less, so I’m accustomed with lots of different accents) but I still can’t understand those damned listening test when I go back to my home country. 😂 They’re very hard even to a fluent person, but part of that is also because the audio in the exam room is scuffed as hell.

I've lived in another country where you had to learn their native language from elementary, and it's still very hard. The teachers do seem to teach very well and some students do so well that they get some solid vocabulary and language level from the lessons, but personally I was very bad at it. I think it's impressive that he's able to pick up what Vox was saying 70%-80% of the time just from his standard school lessons

Aza's always been a pretty funny liver that i've seen here and there, but it's obviously a little difficult to watch when he's on bilibili and also speaks a language I don't understand. Vtuber is indeed better for learning the language I'm interest in, because even if my progress is not that fast, I like what I see and hear. And sooner or later, my ear gonna get used to that language and the rest is muscle memory I guess.
