The video says "English Only", but the actual rule Korone says (after introducing the English Only Stream) is "Don't speak Japanese". So she can use whatever word from whatever language she wants, unless it's Japanese.
Plus there are plenty of non-English words that are used so often in English that they make it into the OED. Not sure if amigo is one of them, and I'm far too lazy to check.
I can't imagine either one will pop up in a Korone stream, but both "tycoon" and "honcho" (as in "head honcho") are loanwords from Japanese. So, y'know, they'd be okay for doggo use.

Not really, her voice is so unique, she'll sound adorable even with perfect English. I doubt she'll go as far as reach perfect English though. Most Japanese who can speak English don't go so far as to go for perfect pronunciation.

Then she already passed that age. i.e. She will always have a Japanese accent no matter which language she learns from around 14 years old on. "Fluent" English is a vague term, if you mean work proficiency then yes she could achieve that level.
I'm so proud of all the progress she's making in getting better at English. Her first English only streams were a lot less eloquent because she only knew a few words. Now she's able to laugh and make jokes. It warms my heart.

Korone's improving english really is an inspiration for those who are trying to learn Japanese. While it is a slow progress it is observable which is really enough for some to keep going. The second one is the _reprise._ It's also used as a verb. If an actor plays a character role they've done before, they're _reprising_ that role.

I just got to the 1:30:10 where she reads "Good English!" and goes "Really? Really?" YES REALLY!!! She knows enough english to express basically all of her thoughts in an understandable way, and that's an amazing start. I can do that in french, but that's nothing compared to the difficulty gap between JP and EN. I'd love to have that level of basic Japanese

Doing a near 2 hour English-only stream is honestly impressive, not to mention that speaking a language is the best was to improve one's skill in it. I honestly believe she's learning a lot doing these type of streams, as well as give her a confidence boost in her English skills. This is why she is best doggo and why I love her.

If Korone continues studying English (which I'm sure she will) in a few months, she will be able to communicate as well as Haato. Give it a month and she might be able to collab even with the EN girls. I am so proud of her and I love her with all my heart and soul

I hope Korone understands how big of an impact this stream and her previous Super Mario stream had on Hololive. She brought so many kaigai-niki into the rabbit hole and I wouldn't have it any other way.
This is still the greatest thing to ever come out of Hololive and I really hope she returns to English only streams sometime. Kaigai Niki watch the Japanese streams enough now that she may not feel a need to do the EN streams, but I think a ton of people would die to see it happen. I quote a laundry list of Korone-isms from this video (and the other SMB one) on a daily basis, like the endless variations of "flying turtle", "no confidence", "water in the fire" etc.
This is my 3rd time watching this stream and I just gotta say, I fucking love Korone. So goddamn adorable, and her trying to speak english is even more adorable
