I just loved them to bits. They have great chemistry on/off screen. And I liked that they are very natural and comfortable together. Whenever they’re together, it’s always cute and funny. I hope their friendship will always stay like this.
I really like this interview they're really relaxed I think bc ZZH already know the interviewer and the team he creates a good mood so GJ can relax too even tho he never met the guy before and he's shining and they can be super honest (GJ admitting right away that he lied to be seen in a good light proves it and it went well) they really have a good friendship and trust between eo so it's so relaxing and pleasant and fun to watch as an audience
The interviewer is actually the producer of the show Ace vs Ace, Wu Tong. I am amazed at how he can make almost everyone being so comfortable in the show. I am glad ZZH and GJ came to this show and ZZH even got to sing with my fave singer Huahua (Hua Chen Yu).
In this drama, Gongjun and ZhangZhehan communicated the story across that is why viewers are reacting and are noisy because they understood the story. Thanks to the artists, director, and crew🙏
They are so laid back they are a joy to watch. This is the difference with Zhan Xiao and Yibo Wang they were really nervous in interviews and made each other blush which was suspicious. I don't see any flirting here is all pure fun between two good mates.
Because XZ and WY were really young and relative newcomers, esp WY who was barely 20-21 at the time. Also, it was one of the first mainstream BL, so they don't know how the people will react to mainstream actors in a BL drama (esp since the biggest example they had before them was Addicted controversy). Most people think it's because they are real CP, but honestly I think they were just really nervous. Meanwhile, ZZH and GJ are older and way more established as drama actors. If the show flops, it will not destroy their careers, so they are more chill and laid-back.
@@Furrina89 totally disagree ZH and GJ are younger that XZ!!! I double check on the dates of birth GJ is 4 years younger than XZ and ZZH is one year younger than XZ. What is true is ZZH has already 10 years in the acting scene and GJ debuted as a lead character 8 year prior to WoH. By the way this was the second BL for GJ which made him the only actor in history to play two BL dramas in China. that man is brave as it comes and he does heterosexual acting so confident too. Great actor GJ I love him. WY had been performing since he was 14 XZ came late to showbiz in his mid 20s. XZ and WY has also acted before but not as leads. They were nervous because they fancied each other and was wrong with that? XZ is the most beautiful man in China and WY the sexiest. Who can blame them 🙃

ZZH is an extremely established xianxia actor, Gong Jun has done some pretty risque roles - Advance Bravely, cross-dressing in Unique Girl etc etc. Compared to that XZ and WYB were new comers, making a transition from idols to actors (though XZ is more established, I don't think he had a lead role in a major drama before Untamed) and the BLs before that were either flops/unpopular, or the govt got involved (like with Addicted). So it makes sense that they were cautious and defensive, but for some reason people think it's because they were f***ing each other IRL.

Lol,I guess it depends on what one calls the definition of soul mates. As depicted in this drama. The relationship of heart to mind these characters have in this drama reminded me of another favorite of mine! Supernatural.......an American series where two brothers share the same loyalty and comraderie. Anyway,I watch TV, movies,dramas for relaxation and fun.This drama is great in all aspects,great acting,great script and great directing.Job well done!

Gong Jun has the best chemistry in "Advance Bravely" with Jason Xu. His shyness and awkwardness with Jason is absent here, totally. He's so at ease here as basically, he's working co-star with ZZH and no real emotions are involved, unlike with Jason Xu.
Not only them, the whole cast and crew were surprised that the drama became a hit. Everyone thought this drama would be a flop because it’s a low budget production, no famous big names actors, no promotions and so on. There was even an earlier poll voting for upcoming BL dramas that would flop, and WOH got the highest votes. So you can see that everyone never thought this drama would be such a hit overnight.

Despite the low budget, lack of promotions, the story is very authentic to the novel (that's what I heard), the portrayal of the complex characters, the scriptwriting (expansion of the story, cultural/poetic references), the side characters, chemistry and the subtle (and not so subtle) implication of the lead's relationship. Everything is just perfect.
@@shiny2401 Yes, me and you and a lot of people are glad that they were wrong, and I totally agree with everything else you said. I’m just so happy that a dark horse drama became such a big hit and so loved by many. WOH captured many hearts because the whole cast and crew put so much love and care to it. It just shows that you don’t always need a big budget or big name stars for a drama to be a hit. Great acting and chemistry, good script, and keep the story as close and true to the novel will give you good results. Truly everyone that involved in the making of WOH, deserves all the love, praises and recognition.

I am so happy for them because they have no problem with the solo fans and cp fans. They are so cute. I miss my yizhan couple too. They are my first chinese actors whom i have fallen in love in the the untamed. I am so heartbroken because of anti fans ruined their friendships. I am so 😥.
