Thanks for the videos, is there a somewhat exhaustive list of the CEs that are compatible with the servants that would need help from one? I've looked into it but i surprisingly didn't find anything. Your tierlist really helped, i didn't really base my rolls on it but it sure helps understand how the caltria engine works in general.

How about updates on Servants from the 2020 list that have improved looping capabilities due to buffs? Both Helena's, who were mentioned in the description of that video, can loop better now for example.
@@theisyes6993got her at NP2, and she is having a hard time to loop (even with Para order-swapped in. If not for the fact that I like Tomoe's design, I wouldn't even roll for her.
@@davidt6814 Might as well. Sieg lacks damage at times but Chen Gong easily destroys everything. You just need someone else like Waver to give him some NP.
@@davidt6814 pretty sure. I can loop sieg perfectly with a support castoria and plugsuiting Paracelsus and casgil in, so I’m fairly certain he’s fine with double castoria
You ever wanted to witness blatant power creep, look no further than Summer Tomoe and Muramasa! Summer Tomoe has a 3 turn 100% crit buff with a delayed stun, just to ‘balance it out’. Muramasa has a 3 turn 100% crit buff that also boosts star generation rate by 100%, AND gives a one turn invulnerability pierce AND boosted 100% damage to invulnerable targets. NO DEMERITS. Both skills have six turn cooldowns. Summer Tomoe has a 30% Arts boost for one turn that boosts self Arts absorption by 500%. A modest 4 turn cooldown. Muramasa has a 50% boost to Arts, Buster, and Quick for one turn. All of that with a 1000% boost in general star absorption and a 15 star bomb. 5 turn cooldown. Oh yeah! Let’s not forget Muramasa has a 50 percent battery that gives him an ability to gain 10 percent NP gage every time he normal attacks. Tomoe doesn’t even HAVE a battery skill. And just to add insult to injury, Muramasa has a 0.59% attack NP gain verses Tomoe’s 0.55%. So it’s not even a Melt/ Perceval thing where Melt has a big battery but Perceval has better gains. Nope. Muramasa has better gains and a Big Fat Battery. Like holy crap, Muramasa just buries her in the f*cking dirt. Yeah, Tomoe has a 25 star bomb with 10 stars per turn. However, a few extra stars means little compared to all that, especially when she has four star stats verses his five star stats, and especially whenever he can make up those stars with his 100% star gen boost. Tl;dr: DW just did not give a f*ck

They've improved this year since going by website estimates they've already made 25.5 compared to 18.8, and that's only with 6 days of June counted for this year compared to all of June last year. Tamemoto putting in work even though he's a permanent aoe buster archer, first 3 days ranked as #1, #1 and #3.... Bakin didn't even hit #1.
Muramasa is an SSR, a special New Year's Servant, an exceptionally anticipated addition to the cast, AND only the second SSR AoE Arts Saber in the entire game (first one released in almost 4 years). Of course they made him busted. Besides, Tomoe isn't even that bad, she just has a slightly harder time looping. The fact that she can still do it without starting gauge or a plug is honestly impressive for an SR with 3 hits on their NP and no self charge.
Really happy to see Ranmaru at high tier. It really pissed me off how quickly people were to write her off as bad just because she couldn't loop berserkers at np2. Also, I ain't callin' her that.
She is that bad, I still remember when Xnaya try her first time barely made full refund even now (if not for append skill), problem is her class which moon cancer only have advantage against avenger so her damage modifier are low.
They just need to add increase np gain rate but it would need to be at a really high level or give it 70% battery like oberon or like add cooldown reduction too Looks impossible but can work with a little here and there
@@theguywithnumbnuts5288 Pretty much, though it wouldn't even need to be a super high amount of np gain only about 30%. Lasagna just needs to give that buff to Skadi s1 and she's instantly crazy high tier, not Castoria level since Castoria np is just dumb busted, but Skadi would be Koyan tier. Did the calc on np gain calculator and yeah if they just gave that buff to Skadi we could actually do black grail farming with Quick servants, needing only another charger to come in and fill in the little bit they need left. But yeah a new quick support that gives Quick and np gain would be great, they don't even need to give charge, just 50% quick and 30% np gain, though of course a little more charge would be nice lol
Watch as they make an effect that turns critical stars into NP Damage Up for that turn for 3 turns and someone like Charlemagne gets 198% NP Damage Up every single time because you'd be using Double Whoever Turns Out to be the Gen2 Quick support /s

Same here. I have Np3 Space Ishtar but will still get Summer Kiara. Honestly she's just a slightly inferior Space Ishtar if anything. And she can NP loop with black grail with not much struggle especially with append skill.
Finally a brother I can call my own. I np2, gold foued and level 100 OG Kiara with Bond 10. I shall do the same for Summer Kiara. Fuck meta. (Has all the op support servants right down to NP2 Tamamo)
I'd argue Ryouma Lancer should be top tier. Should his skills be maxed, 50% 3-turn Arts is nothing to scoff at and as shown in the demo, he could loop really fine with minimal Mystic Code help, what more if the Tropical Summer MC Skill 1 was used on the 2nd or 3rd wave. Other than that, this is a pretty solid and helpful video. Percival gaining 90% refund even on Berserker modes is actually insane. And Zenobia can loop even without MC help, crazy.
Ryouma lancer is so underrated man, his farming damage is one of the best thanks to his self 50% arts up for 3 turns and 3 turns np damage in his np The only "bad" thing about him is his refund which can be a bit inconsistent against certain mobs, something that can be fixed with plugsuit (which is faster now)
Are you kidding? He can't loop zerks and assassins without the plug or charge/np gain ce. That's not top tier. Its high. Which is exactly what it was rated.
Maybe I'm wrong, but a thing I noticed is that when using 2004 you tend to use the NP gain buff on wave 2 as well as the battery because of the insufficient refund of wave 1, and I think it could be optimal (assuming same enemy classes in wave 1 and in wave 2) to use the NP gain buff on wave 1 since you're going to get in general more overkill hits and get more value out of the NP gain. Obviously it depends also on how big the battery is and stuff, but if the battery is big enough you'll get more value of it when you're getting less refund which will be in wave 3 because of the lower number of overkill hits in wave 2 (sometimes you won't get more overkill hits than in wave 1, but at least you'll never get less).
One thing I hate about Habetrot is that her existence now pretty much invalidates every Arts AoE Rider now sans Da vinci Lily and arguably Odysseus , and perhaps even Alter Egos for Casters and Ryouma for CQs. You just can't compete with a relatively easy to get NP5 Four Star that has a free NP in her S2 and App Batt. unless you have some unique or ridiculous tech that makes a newcommer worth buying into (or an NP Interlude, perhaps). Bakin is THE prime victim of this, as no matter her kit's buffs and 4 Hit NP just makes her a worse Habetrot since they decided to knee-cap her in her NP Gain AND Attack to 'keep her in check' . Why use an expensive Five Star over the dress maker when she can do their job just as adequetely for cheaper Party Cost and has more use cases? Bless her heart, for I do love the little munchkin, but Habetrot is extremely centralizing in her own right that makes designing new Servants a problem - you either have to make them better than her and advance powercrept another step, or you try to pull a shell game on a Servant's overall power and see if any suckers will bite.
For my usage of summer Kiara, I typically roll another servant with multiple NP charge skills to keep her rolling. In my case this is Zhuge Liang, and with this he keeps my Kiara charged and running. That’s pretty bad though, since you would need to get another 5 star that for me doesn’t appear often.
being an avid fsn fan i have to save up for muramasa. currently have berserker musashi looping w double castoria but that will probably change if a can manage to get muramasa
The discription makes me giggle how you compare these units to the better or tied ones with space Ishtar and melt lancer. Don't know why it makes me laugh But yeah I've been saying it for years how some of these units fair in farming compared to thier competition as a whole but "new is better" mentality keeps the community from understanding that. Sometimes new equals worse because they are trying to keep the game balanced. It doesn't make them back just fgo made earlier units top tier so a side grade is a good thing to see. Same with niches I feel people don't know what peak and base damage means too. Also na. Space Ishtar is nuking everything in her way. I can't stop her. Someone help me she won't stop. @@coldbacon4869 oh yeah. Mine doesn't even need to use the np buff or mystic code buff for damage she can nuke the fields without them. While I use a bond boost ce on top of it. Kscope? No. Black Grail? Nope. Bond boost ce? Yes. It's also funny as when people say "is space Ishtar or X Y or Z servant better" they kinda answer thier own question by who gets brought up most.
I love Mary anning and already have her level 100 10/10/10 and wish I could just use her to loop everything but the game decided to hand me an np2 Percival and an np5 Charlemagne while also not giving me any black grails to boost her damage
My plan was and still will be NP2 Muramasa and Summer Kama, both at lvl 120. These are just two of my favorite Servants and they are looping monsters. I love them
I got 4 ssr servants 5 new sr servants and 9 already obtained sr servants before I got her. So glad a had a crap ton saved up but my bank still had to have a gash in it. EDIT; Decided to use my last 15 sq after I got her on her banner, of course I get a second copy immediately
I just got mine and I've been experimenting a lot so far my conclusions are: Space Ishtar is the most reliable one, I can use a kscope + 20% append skill and it's guaranteed. Musashi Berserker is the most satisfying to use but doesn't work vs berserkers. Sieg's performance vs assassins is out of this world. I was thinking about getting a main looper and grail to 100, but if I were to do that I think it had to be Space Ishtar, Musashi requires a plugsuit sometimes and with weird wave sizes she doesn't work. It is satisfying to see her go all the way to 100% NP after NP so it's a shame. Both are at NP1... it's hard to decide which one would be the main looper, but at the same time it's nice to have options.
I have Musashi at NP2 and Spishtar at NP1, both with Mana Loading maxed and grailed to 100. I like Musashi more but her performance is dodgy at times due to relying entirely on refund, damage is better obviously but Space Ishtar is way more consistent and has basically guaranteed loops even with BG if you use Fragment of 2004 and have her Mana Loading levelled since it lets you save a Protection of the Lake for turn 2. With a plug she can loop basically anything but that was already true if you used kscope. I'll definitely be rolling to get her to NP2 during the Saber Wars rerun later this year
Agreed with Sieg against Assassins. He practically trivializes any node with them, and has enough damage to defeat those super bosses on T3. Sadly, his refund and damage falls off hard against other classes.
@@DeathTheManiac Mark on a Smiling Face trivializes the loop but you are sacrificing Black Grail damage or a drop CE slot. Plus she still can't do odd nodes, while Space Ishtar can farm 2/2/x and some 3/1/x nodes due to her 50% self charge.
@@ninelivesstealer It's a darn shame then that I burned my Spishtar and don't have black grail. But it doesn't really matter to me seeing as I have two castorias + friend castoria, and I don't really mind not having another drop ce with her. It's not optimal but It doesn't bother me.
Seeing Muramasa as an SSR art saber looper, I feel bad for Void Shiki tho. I mean what is she for now? She can't loop and not even have a battery (it even takes away her np gauge for shitty healing). She isn't a farmer and in boss fight she's even worse. That one time V. Shiki was useful was the Leonidas's spartans and Romulus's roman soldiers fight. And what's up with the Instant-Kill before damage btw? Nitocris, Shiki, and Erice. Douman has Instant-kill up to 120% and it's after damage so he can loop and he has big ass battery too
@@jatisoem7472 I mean even a 1 star like Jason that has one of the worst np gain can also loop but for V. Shiki that even Castoria cannot save her and they just leave her there like G-man. Another 1 hitter is Umu already has a 30% battery that mlb Kscope and Oberon can handle but for Shiki, she's just very sad. She needs an update like Tomoe, even a rework for her skill is a must tbh. Just tossing a battery like Siegfried and boom, she will be revived, at least somewhat useable

NA player here, was planning on rolling Summer Kiara for farming, but now that I know she kinda struggles hard, maybe I should just save for Muramasa instead :p But at least if all else fails and I get none of them, there's always Ranmaru in 2 years which I will definitely grail and max out At the very least I can still farm with Da Vinky Rider, so there's that

if i have oberon, what should do? in ranmaru case, instead of the pluig suit np gauge just using the first skill of one of the castorias and then change to oberon?
My luck was excellent this anni. Not only did I get Castoria in less than half the SQ I stored up and had just enough pure prisms to immediately max her, but my GSSR got me a second copy of Spishtar for better farming and a copy of Caenis, which is great since I needed an AOE lancer that isn't Erice. I even got another copy of Vlad Lancer and Circe, so my single target damage will be primed for Shishoufest. Also, these 5 star embers are a godsend. What would've taken me days to grail Spishtar to 100 and level Castoria to 90 took less than half an hour because of the new embers and the super and great success up. Made some big moves this anni. Rn, I'm not sure if I want to summon on the summer banner or save for people like Kama, Himiko, Douman, and Van Gogh.
