Castoria makes pretty much anything a snooze fest. The only problem was that if you got bad card rng or needing to crit/np for the requirements to remove the shield, you pretty much lose a servant there.
Thanks to doing this quest in Semi Solo with Ishtar I know how much pain you must have endured (and how strong Tesla and Gil's NP gen buffs are), I kneel before King Gilgamesh.
Thanks to your video, I ended up soloing this with my np1 Gilgamesh too. Tho full disclosure, I had to add in two more fodder lv1's with dmg ce's because he wouldnt have been able to kill Gareth otherwise.
I fell exhausted by this quest, after the 3rd try with bad RNG, I said screw it, and decided to go with the Super Turtle Team, it took 56 turns but with no CS or SQ used, also no one died
@@riku_dola8079 basically, Himiko, Casturia and Merlin, the formation gives you total defense even against Ignore Invincible, NP regen, healing, and 40+ stars each turn. The only trouble it has is with buff removers, which is why you kill Tristan First, note that if you don't block the formations, they will take priority in launching NP and attacking, so is even less probable that Tristan would use his skill
@@WiseKingOfMemes I can imagine! Because I love Space Ishtar so much, this was one of the few Super Challenges I ever did. I did it when it first arrived way back when...it was a nightmare. God help you if you get bad card RNG at a critical moment (sometimes it felt like the game would straight up cheat as bad card RNG can lead to a reset). I haven't done another Super Challenge since and I was using a full party! 😅 Regardless, Archer Gilgamesh is my favorite male Archer, if not my favorite Archer period. So I always enjoy seeing him solo, especially for unexpected challenges like this. Keep it up, GP. 👍
Going back and binging Gil content.... I COULD HAVE JUST DONE THIS?! I tried to stall this friggin quest and spent like 6 hours on it. I could've just obliterated them with Gil...
I really really wish they'd buff gil already. He doesn't exactly need it, but when servants like fionn and the thot nun can get so many upgrades, gil sure as heck deserves at least two more.
@@mochii813 Yep. Crit + buster + invincible or crit + invincible or buster + invincible. Imo buster up 50% + invincible is good enough. Hes already hitting for really good damage now and easily keeping up with modern servants. But if they wanna make ridiculous servants like kukulcan a thing, they better at least make everyone else around the same level. Fgos balancing needs SERIOUS work. As it stands, its very poorly done. Yeah ik its for the money blah blah blah, but still.
@@ahreaper You're absolutely right. I'm not a gil simp by any means but looking at the yugioh style kits everyone has these days compared to his is kinda sad ngl. He really does need a survival skill, and if not that give him a huge damage mitigation one like Fujino's. They really threw any sense of balance out the window
