Fact is, Humans are greedy creatures who will always come into conflict with one another... the only thing that set the Europeans and Japanese apart were their technological and military prowess, had it been the Arabs, Indians, Chinese, or anyone else who reached the Technological and Military prowess needed to colonize and imperialize most of the known world they would've done it... and we'd be sitting here talking about how it would be so great if they didn't.

For some reason the German Empire always gets left out on this song on the other translations of this song meanwhile the germans have the best version with Karl Sternau lol. Silly Japanese version left out America to Dan Daly says hello. I love this song though, the story is one of the most understudied events in human history :P
Honestly one of the greatest shows of unity of the great powers, ones that had long since fought against each other, coming together and fighting beside each other. A true shame that it was over just a few years later...
