This was so helpful and clear I'm wondering how I can have her teach me everything I need to know for the rest of my life. This is exactly how my brain needs to be taught concepts!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS.

This is so helpful. Learning flow as an admin is very difficult and it is hard to make my brain think this way. These videos make coding with point and click easier to understand in plain language.

Love it Melody. I believe this is first time that I understand 'before' and 'after' triggers. It makes total sense: before save has to be the current record. Great job.

Hi Flowsome, If I create the flow for one object, would I still need to follow step 2: Plot the data model? For example, I want the flow to run on the contact object only.

Thanks for the video. I have a clarification though - In the video it is said that for child records, we can't use "Update Records" directly and should use "Get Records" to fetch and then loop through. However I had created a record triggered flow which updates a field value on Child Contact record based on parent Account Field value update. Here I only used "Update Records" to update Contact records and didn't use "Get Records". So can you clarify this scenario please?

Hi Anand, this video is sharing the fundamental concept of how to build flows. What you said it's a more advanced concept where the Update Records with conditional is actually a combination of Get Records + Update Records where can be used to mass update related records if you are updating the field with a same value. I was afraid to cause confusion, so it is not addressed here but mentioned in the Update Records video. Hope this explains!

@@salesforceflowsome - Thanks. Does your flowsome website have the details for the configuration details under each of the elements for the OppConRole Flow Use Case? Can you share the link?
@salesforceflowsome
@salesforceflowsome 2 года назад
@@anands8511 I don't have any use case for OppConRole just yet, but you can refer to Account Contact Relationship use cases which would be a similar way of working! Hope it helps: salesforce-flowsome.com/update-all-related-contacts-account-contact-relationship/
